  1. Come on lads play nice ffs this is not the school play ground were we have to start running peoples choices of Lurcher cross in to the ground at the end of the day it’s there choice in x they have they have to feed it an maintain it and put the work in front of it if there happy then it’s happy days ain’t it
  2. I was just interested to see some type bred dogs really as I see some people commenting an I thought they might have kept a line going as they only claim to keep good dogs surly as they give the impression of knowledge an knowing there beans there’d kept a line going. I don’t hate bull xs but there not my flavour I’d rather make use of a traditional tbh. I’ve seen some nice ones that I look at an think that’s a well put together animal I’ve seen a couple of good uns work but I take me hat off to the guys that run them
  3. how many people have kept a line going out of these super dogs of yesteryear that still have the blood line today today?
  4. Never fully a way but low in numbers on the people that had interest in the xs or types I think it’s nice to see more of the traditional type Lurcher as I really favour the type over modern day stuff.
  5. I still occasionally use a laser lite converted to blaze lite tough as old boots little lamp there good as they’ve got the little walking dim beam ??
  6. Mate I think you’ve miss read my original post no one was asking what’s the best collie or bedlington Lurcher or who owns the best it was just stating that what I’ve noticed that the 2 crosses mentioned that it looks like there slowly making a comeback then you start going all yesteryear on us lol giving us I’ve owned the best seen the best no one else owns good dogs but me because I’ve not seen them my standards are higher than yours all while doing 7days 7nights a week work while riding 5 miles a day to keep your dogs fit so the can do back flips over 5bar gates on us......we get it mate you
  7. We know of a few bedlington greyhounds that were on the numbers crack and a few that still are don’t we northern ??
  8. Raw all the time if you know what your doing As already mentioned a dogs body is designed for raw feeding even if the food is past it’s best.i can understand there being problems with bacteria if your feeding raw in your kitchen off the floor were young kids/baby’s are crawling about but saying that that’s on the owner for being a lazy git for not disinfecting properly after feeding if in this position look at it like this you’ve just cut some chicken breast up for your dinner using a chopping board what do you do with the chopping bord after use to stop the spreading of bacteria to your self
  9. Sounds as though you got a short straw mate I’ve been there in the past with a bedlington x whippet f1 bred from worker to worker the bedlington used was a decent size An the whippet was 21tts I ended up with a 17tts half cross complete shit on the lamp due to being small an slow but let my hart rule over head hung on to her just for ferreting an bushing she turned in to a really good bitch for nocking about with but I’d never have another to be fair as they don’t suit my needs or do I feel the need to be that restricted. I’ve seen a few decent bedlington x greyhounds in my time that were good
  10. Smart looking dogs mate. This is the type I’ll continue to keep they suit my needs to the ground true masters of none takers of all
  11. I don’t know about your theory mate each of the bloods you said no need for offer some good things to traditional Lurcher mixes as a good mix An match bred Lurcher for hunting an produce some good rabbit dogs there’s always going to be bandits in the running dog game that bend the rules/law to suit there needs I take me hat of to them An say fair play to them.
  12. I’ve heard people saying about golden paste what’s it used for?
  13. Just wondered if they were unable to process vit D properly as you feed a lot of vit d in your diet plus give calcium tabs that’s normaly what’s offered for people that can’t process vit d just wondering that’s all
  14. Ps I also thought garlic was toxic to dogs?
  15. Alright dan what’s the reasoning for giving calcium tabs garlic tabs COD liver oil daily are your dogs deficient or in processing it in normal raw foods that they need regular supply’s of it In tab form genuine question not trying to be clever
  16. I don’t give cod liver oil I personally think you can over do it giving all these supplements to a all ready balance diet I think if you feed a good variety diet it covers vitamin d mackerel is good
  17. This bitch here’s out the same stuff although not a high percentage of collie still more than enough to work with ferrets, find an catch and work the lamp
