  1. there speaks a man with a proven record of top class dogs, i would consider him as a so called expert! told you they are on here!!!
  2. o.k. last year,on permission, in lincoln my dog killed a hare in about 30-40 secs. when i looked at it i found one of it's eyes was cloudy, partially blind i would think.surely i'm not alone in having caught one like this? saw a dvd of captain killing 5 or six on the trot. saw another dvd where captain was in match with boozers dog, boozer killed 2, captain only one think they ran about five or six each that day,how do you explain that??? better hares is my guess!
  3. good point, sensible reply. my point is how long are each of these courses? they can't all be 3-4 min runs, in my view, shorter the run, poorer the hare! p.s. my dog has only caught 3's due to lack of hares where he runs most of season, he is still only 22 mths. old, this season will be the better guide to how good he is! Shorter the run poorer the hare, you for real!!!! Longer the run poorer the dog in my view.... your OBVIOUSLY no expert! And I take it from that answer you reckon you are........ So, lets take it you are an expert as you like to think you are..... You

  8. excellent!thanks for sharing.
  9. see my previous post!!! not saying it didn't happen, but not all hares are the same!
  10. has he ever won forley cup? should have with a dog like that!! why don't we arrange a day for all these men with these super dogs for us all to see them? i would run my dog as well and he will hold his own, these dogs cannot be SO MUCH BETTER CAN THEY?
  11. someone knows their stuff!best reply on here!! i've had 3 a couple of times, but these guys talking 6,7,8. etc. are running poor hares, FACT. a GOOD hare takes some catching, and if you come accross 6 good ones, you might catch 3, certainly not all six!
  12. hi, what condition are they in, where abouts are you? thanks.
  13. brilliant!!! never heard that before!
  14. try telling that to the lads who regularly win forley cup over the years!!! so when your on said treadmill, you are not actually walking/running!!!! have you ever used one? feels EXACTLY like real walking, running to me!
  15. so why do most athletes use them? what about the older folks, who have worked dogs for forty, fifty years or so, who can't do the miles on foot anymore. treadmills are better than not walking!
  16. it's really simple, even for a person of your i.q. if you agree, move your head up and down, if you don't agree, move it from side to side!
  17. both very nice looking dogs, terrier looks like a ken gould bred dog?
  18. what are your oppinions on conformation of the most prolific catchers of hares/rabbits.i have noticed over the years most of the best dogs are slightly lower at the withers/shoulder than at the hips, i.e shorter front legs than rear, same as the hare really, they seem to be more agile, turn better than dogs which are taller in front legs. keep it sensible please!!!
  19. excellent pics them mate.... hows the black dog bred   great pics mate would u mind if i put these on my website? that last pic. must be THE best lurcher action shot ever!!!
  20. how much to get in,please. it's only cheap, 2 or three quid i think!
  21. I KNEW SOME C##T WOULD TAKE THE PISS!!!! trust it to be you!they are my kennel shoes i'll have you know.he was 18 mth there buddy.
  22. have you noticed your's is the scrawniest dog so far??? do me a favour, feed it before you even think about runnin it!!! look what we have here another trying to spoil a good topic, av seen this dog with my own to eyes and its in great shape, not skinny,FIT its the same gimp that said she was skinny last time tb25 think he need to go get a life and stop being a fanny all his life all he can do is try and pick faults out of other peoples dogs when hes bin told by many of people on the last post that the dog aint to skinny so think he want to play a game the immature KID...p.s think h
