  7. The public highway •Shoot managers and Guns must ensure that shooting does not obstruct, cause danger or alarm to users of the public highway, including roads, bridleways, footpaths and other rights of way. •Guns should note that to shoot across a footpath or bridleway that is in use by walkers or riders may constitute a public nuisance or wilful obstruction. There may also be a liability in negligence if it is known that people are on, or likely to be on, the path. •In particular, care should be taken when siting Guns near roads. 10. Currently the shooting of woodpigeon is controlled by general licences issued by Natural England for England, Welsh Assembly Government for Wales, Scottish Government for Scotland and in Northern Ireland by the NI Environment Agency (NIEA). No individual application is required for any licence; however in Scotland you are legally obliged to have read and understood the licence relevant to your shooting. The general licences authorise shooting for specific purposes such as: preventing serious damage to crops, vegetables, fruit and foodstuffs for livestock, and for the purpose of preserving
  11. Very nice Mikey, a GML For those that dont know - GML was a team that had the blessing of AA to customise s400's. They took the carbine barrel, the classic cylinder, machined air strippers to match, slight tune to the innards and trigger, brass barrel collar and pellet insert. They made quite a few and at one time, Blackpool Air Rifles were stocking them. The 3 GML were Gary Mick and Lee.
  12. Thanks mate, just been having a play and i think i need more arms, the wife's getting mad at me keep asking her to hold stuff while i tape it to the rifle and the light from the tv in the back ground isnt helping, even with a rifle in my hand there is no whay that im gonna ask her to switch it off, so i think i will try again tomorrow. thanks again i'll not let it beat me. If you get really stuck , let me know , we can talk it out on the phone
  13. You first need to get the NV focused at the eye piece . If you point it at the floor and adjust the eyepiece unit it has a sharp image of the specks on the tube , what i mean is it will focus on dust particles ( you`ll see if you try it ) . Once thats done , put some tape around it to ensure it wont move . Then you need to focus the objective out to about 50 - 75 yds , once again you can tape it .Put it onto your scope and it should work fine , and you use the adj obj to focus on your quarry , this is where a side wheel scope is better . Its probably harder to describe than to do , but stick w
  14. Hi slim ,what do you mean exactly when you say eye relief to the scope ??
  15. I like to keep an eye on my `kit` and will give it a good service about every 18 months . This is a full strip down , and only then do i clean the barrels . If i were to have accuracy problems , i would give it a clean
  16. Ide have it at that price . If you want it serviced , give me a shout
  17. If your set on having a Mamba , then the best thing would be a lamp . I say this because any add-on will considerabley increase the over all length of your scope , bringing it so far back it will be nigh on impossible to `shoulder` your gun comfortably and have the correct eye relief . The only two ways to combat this is , have a very short scope , one of the mini type , and a butt extension . This will still take a bit of getting used to , but its the best way . The only other stipulation i would have for an NV add-on , would be a side wheel scope . Having used NV and lamp for quite some
