  4. Haha that has made my morning! Try leaving a couple of dead rabbits in bags next time! You may come home to lovely cooked meal and the rest prepared and in the freezer! If Carlsberg made an ideal wife... That would be the one lol
  5. I thought this may help alot of people on here as to the type of nets out there being sold by differant companies and people. Now you read alot of threads asking where to buy nets from and as there is so much choice it leaves you in a world of choice and prices! For new comers and seasoned ferreters who ask about nets it may just help stop buying inferior quality nets the first time around! Ive purchased quite a few nets from differant people & suppliers that claim to make the "best" quality nets on the market but heres my find. After purchasing numbers of nets and using differant types I
  6. Jim Cheers for that fella, I have heard good reviews and now that you added to it I may just order one Monday morning Cheers
  7. After searching long and hard for a quickset longnet system ive been recommended Master Hunter as a good supplier. Would this be a good purchase and does anyone use his system? Any help would be greatly appreciated. The poles look hood quality as do the nets. Just need some guidance on spending my hard earned Kind regards

  12. Believe it or not there suprisingly light and fit across the back realy well. I have a couple of Bow backs and dont get on too well with the space when out ferreting for long periods and these have alot of space inside, hopefully they do the job well
  13. Cheers for the comments so far good points about the air holes I just followed the amount/width of the ones I have on other boxes. I source my ply from Wickes and they price match so get it super cheap but Topps Tiles are going to start doing it soon 9mm and 15mm although this is 12mm. I just bought a couple of sheets that I sorted through in Wickes and I get one box from one 1200x600 sheet.
  14. Right I went to order a box the other day and found out the company I used previous was no longer going I thought why not give a box a try as I had a day off... Never made anything like this before or to be honest never made anything since school :-)... Ended up with this one last night measures 24" x 9.5" x 10.5"........ And bitten by the bug I decided to try another today but a double box! Not yet finished but heres a little pic... Your thoughts would be appreciated

  17. At the beginning of the year i had some of the above nets from Terrierjohn and they are superb but he doesnt seem active now, who else makes these and supplies good quality or even Hemp nets? Any help woulf be greatly appreciated. Kind Regards
  18. The Mk3 superten is a superb rifle as is the carbine and the Bull Barrel versions, alot of BSA rifles favour heavy pellets dur to the barrels so in .177 they tend to favour Barracuda match/Bisley mags, although they do vary. John Bowkett is a good option but chrono the rifle on return as i have had 4 rifles blue printed and 3 returned over 12.4 ftlb withthe recommended pellets and he charges for postage back to correct this so costs you another 50 quid if this problem arises! Hence the reason I reduced the powere myself on the last two guns. A Tench regged Ultra is a good gun also, high shot c
  19. You could try Airmasters in Hemel Hempstead mate look up Dave Welham :-)
  20. Hi mate if you find a good gunsmith then also get them to fit a V-mach kit from Steve Pope or Blackpool Air Rifles, the kits are around 71 quid but makes the gun into something else ;-), they can be fitted if you have any knowledge of stripping the rifle but as you need the trigger done get it to a gunsmith if you unsure. Steve Pope currently isnt taken on any work but the kits are great, just fitted one to my new pro sport and the lock time is sensational and hardly any recoil! Ive owned and shot ALOT of venom rifles and the kits are well worth it.

  24. A couple of weeks back I ordered one of the Mouchers boxers from D.D Timber Products in the Delux model. Took it out Saturday and what a cracking box, light weight, easy to use and easily carries my Jill comfortabley. Either strapped over your shoulder or in my case round my waist you wouldnt even know it was there when your working with it on. You couldnt ask for anymore in a box to be honest and id recommend one to anyone with a jill. The strap is tough and the fixings are built to last and im just about to put another order in for another one for someone else. Thumbs up fellas
  25. After managing to get a day off from work finaly I managed to get out today for my Jills first outing and my first outing ferreting. What a cracking day, only out for a couple of hours but with frost and some snow on the ground and plenty of holes to clear we set to work, clearing 11 holes in a treeline in the middle of the field we netted up and down she went within ten minutes we had one bolt from under the hut thats been there for years thats unable to be netted, we worked this for around 30-40 minutes and that was the only rabbit bolted these have been previously ferreted so we moved onto
