    If you measure the pike there is charts that can convert the weight and give you a rough idea to within a pound or two at a guess the one your holding there looks to be 34-36" and a girth of around 17"

    Got the Rapala pro wear ones last year they are very good.

    Easy a double at a guess the lad holding it is 5'10"-6' tall which would make the fish around 34".

    Is still young give it another 8 months some take to it quicker than others. On the plus side it has that streak of aggression so once it gets the idea of hunting should take to it ok just because a dog takes to something quick dosent always mean it will be better than a dog that takes longer. Once had a running dog that I did not think would make the grade but turned out to be a really good dog just needed time.

    Lamprey and pollen at this time of year never fails me on the Yorkshire Ouse.

    A farm lake I fish gets weeded really bad and the farmer there gets in the boat with a spray pack and sprays it with roundup a bit at a time. It works but two things I don't know how much is safe and I believe you can now be prosecuted for treating lakes with weed killer as its classed as pollution.

    Don't know, she keeps a good few terriers, only came across her as i wanted a patterdale bitch and all the local ones I saw were bred of little more than black mongrals. Saw her add on epupz rang her up and she knew her stuff on patts went and had a look and bought one and Im happy with it.

    Got a black bitch of lesa 18 months a go has turned into a good working bitch. The bitch she was out of was well worked, only problem with her dogs is they all tend to have large ears that are easily torn.
