    found it a home, so all is well, i noticed that it was very active and friendly so he is going to check it over for ticks etc and fattern it up with the veiw of hunting with it.

    i use a 20 bore with fixed chokes, think they are 1/2 and 3/4, i find the 20 bore a very nice gun, only one problem, the shells are not cheap.

    Went out again today and came away with 7 woodies and 1 rabbit

    i went to today. on freshly cut peas, i got there at half one, got set up with 12 decoys ( shells) placed in a u shape. set up he hide and boom they came in very well. 15 in 1 1/2 hir. and the total was 37 with 5 left behind as i could not find them

    Hi all ive got magpie decoys ( live) for your larsen traps. please pm me and i will get back to you. Im end/closing the trap on the 2 june for my holiday.

    i would keep a eye on the trap and change the timings. if the is still no food or fresh water in a few days, call him and just ' just to let you know that the trap has run out of food' and see what he says.

    Evening all I have recently got a second hand trap from a nice forum member.I trapped a few magpies but my decoy bird died. So i thought to my self '' wait till the holiday ( 2 weeks time) to be over and i will reset it ,i got up two days ago and found a magpie in the trap RESULT, i trapped one this morning and i despacted that. the trap has just gone off and there are two more birds waiting to join the rest.
