  1. Ive asked around and post lost signs on every lamppost. i will see the local brats, oops i mean kids later today. His hutch is open with a woodie, dry food( thats what the last owner fed him on) and some water. Ive also got a live trap with a dead bird in near my chicken coop. Fingers crossed. Jamie M i dont mind your last comment. its a good idea.

Evening. after my earlier topic about getting my first ever ferret.I were building a large extension to his hutch and nailed the chicken wire on the front. i went shopping and on returning i checked if he is enjoying the new extension and found NOTHING . He had managed to get thought a tiny gap between the wood side and the wire. Ive looked around my garden, hen house and in the street but nothing. ive asked neirbours and post ''lost'' posters in the street. I feel like and complete w r and im gutted as he were a good hob that loved me getting him out.

  6. Fred ( the ferret) has settled in well and loves coming out of the hutch. After some late nights thinking of his welfare and ive decided to build a run under his hutch. So here is some pictures with about 30 minutes work and about hour left. Deakin ive tired to fit him in the box.He does fit but no room to move Pitures to follow( file too big)

  9. Well the woman i got him from said she has been feeding him with cat dry food. his never had any meat !!

  12. Thnaks guys. i cant wait to get out there and get some rabbits for him and me. Im keeping on his own at the moment ( i will spend some time with him ) as im not ready for more( lack space).
  13. Just got my first ferret today, A 8 month HOB. lovely to pick up. However the little r got out of the hutch in the car and got out again when i was getting him some water. All i need now is the kit, ive got a ferreting box from a guy from here.

  16. Yes very addictive, i can easy shot every day for a 2 week period
  17. And slow movements as they are more attarted to fast movement like us. as syubby says, use the shell decoys they are good, light and i feel with the other decoys the fur may come off over time?! chris
