    Used to do a lot of off-roading, the suzuki sj's, vitaras and jimnys went much further than any of the lawn rovers (land rovers) I ever owned as there much lighter, the land rovers I owned were all diesel though so much cheaper to run than the petrol vitaras, which to be honest for a 1.6 petrol drink fuel, so if your only going in the odd field etc I'd say stump up for a land rover, if your not wanting to get stuck and not doing huge miles get the suzuki, u will be very surprised at where a suzuki can get even with standard road tyres on This was one of my off-roadersjs

    You can buy them cheap enough used from either here or ebay so makes sense to use one, I wouldn't enter my ferrets without, if they kill below it saves waiting for them to decide to move and you can check there moving around also, makes for a more efficient days hunting and a better bag at the end of the day, what ever you pay for one I'm sure you won't lose much on it if you decide it's not for you, I recommended a mk3 jack
