  1. I'm on my fourth BMW, I've had 2 318i saloons, changed to a 5 series when we had 3 kids, and changed it again for a tourer when I got lurchers, I'm currently driving a 523i and I love it. I'm not sure about the price though, I paid 7K for mine when it was six yrs old, full leather interior, air con, the works really, BUT it has a high mileage- so that may be why? I loved the 318- engine just right to give you some power when needed, but not guzzling too much gas.
  2. So sorry for your loss Your sadness shows what a good mum she was.
  3. But remember, if it's a family car, and insured for 2 or more drivers, you have to remember who was driving where and at what time, to identify who was speeding. This can be very hard to do, and the photographic evidence can be requested to help you, but this is useless too. Shame that you can't remember who was driving eh?
  4. Very good Scallywag!! You've got it sussed. :clapper:
  5. Sadly Lurchers don't tend to do well in general rescue centres, they get overlooked, which could explain why the dog has been there for so long. If you look there are many 18mth to 2yr old (usually male) lurchers in rescue, they do seem to go through a teenage stage- which could also explain the dog being returned. I've 2 rescue lurchers, one would trip over a rabbit before he saw it- he was found as a stray (and I can guess why they chucked him out!) The other is just about a yr old, is very keen, and at the mo we're finding him very hard, his prey drive is so strong he just ignores
  6. Good news, I hope you get the others back soon. I cannot believe the scumbags that tried to remove his tattoo.
  7. I like the name Flicka too. Gorgeous looking pup by the way.

    DOGS

Just seen this, thanks to the bump They are the absolute scum of the earth to nick ANY dog, but one that is nearly 15!!!! Hope they have been reported to dogslost, and also lurcher search- then the dogs details will be put on different sites like these. As someone else said, it's a good idea to look out at shows and stuff, someone saw their dog at Selby this year, and were able to get it back- it had been stolen a while ago, maybe up to a year- so you never know. I'm sorry for anyone who's had a dog nicked, I'd be devastated.
  9. So sorry for Freya. RIP.
