    Please log him through Doglost www.doglost.co.uk and ring Springfield Kennels at Ossett- 01924 271028 You will need to go there and ask to look at found dogs- do not leave it to them to say whether they have him or not. The kennels had been closed but are now open again.

    You see it every day in rescue. We have a dog that owner says is 18- doesnt want it back ffs - makes me so mad. I took on a collie- beautiful dog- has issues but it took two of us over two hours to cut through the matted knots in his fur. His tail, back legs & body were all matted together. The ex owner had other dogs- a few in same condition- and he wants them back. Doesnt see that dogs 4 " deep in matted fur is cruelty. His back was solid- broke scissors cutting through it.     The 'Retreiva' collars advertised on Doglost were trialled all over the place. I saw them again at Crufts & two of us had scissors, pliers & wirecutters on them trying to break the material that collar made out of- cant do it. See what you mean about chips but if you;re quick enough you'll be on the trail of the dog before they take chip out, if you have a tag as well that says that dogs has 'Tracker Chip Implant' they may not nick it. Half the working dogs stolen are taken for breeding- neuter stops that, or for working- for the hell of it cos they can & it really peeves

    missing black n tan lurcher dog, he is called max and is very friendly, he was last seen down HOWE ROAD, Can you please keep eye out for him . This is friend of mine who has posted.     THESE DOGS HAVE ALL BEEN FOUND AND RETURNED FOLLOWING AN ARTICLE PLACED IN COUNTRYMANS WEEKLY VIA DOGLOST!!!!!!! All three were still together & now back home.

    Late posting as been at kennels but glad to see Sparky back home. The lady who alerted me is a good friend. Wish we could find them all as quick as this. Thanks to everyone for looking after him until owners traced

    One of the dogs was stolen once before along with a 14 year old bitch who had many visible cancerous tumours and was obviously sick and elderly. This dog was never recovered and it not a pleasant to even think of what may have become of her. Jill however was recovered over in Rochdale 2 years after she was stolen. In a very bad state physically and a bag of nerves. she had also obviously been used for breeding. It is thought the same people returned last night to steal poor Jill yet again and also Alice and Timmy. The owners are just devastated that poor Jill is going through al

    Can you please keep eye out for SPRAKY Missing from Newton Aycliffe on 31/12/2009 Sparky is a neutered fawn coloured cairn terrier approx 18 months has collar and tags on and is chipped. He took off whilst out on his walk and there's been no sign of him since. Any info, please contact alison.murray@pleasehelpourdogs.co.uk or Durham Police. YOu can pm either myself or Doe also.     I run my own rescue and have no issue what so ever homing to working homes. I will still do a homecheck- its part of my adoption BUT priority is that the dogs are happy, well cared for and have a fulfilled life. I will ALWAYS take back a dog. I work full time- rely on my neighbours to come let my dogs out during the day- its hypocritical of me to deny people who work a dog. I also have friends whos dogs live outside- they have a secure double skinned kennel and are kept on wheat straw. They are both 11 yr old collies and look about 6. So please don't judge all rescues the same. Th
