took my bird out today with my mate and his fhh i got a male flys at 1-5 , gets to the wood where we let them go , mates female darting about here and there . my male( bob) follows on for about 100 yards then starts to get a bit slugish , so we plod on my mates bird having a pop at a phesy and bob just looking at the floor all the time , so i get bob down to me glove and he just not interested at all , so we decide to go , now on the way back we stopped at a little strip wood just for a quick look and see if bobs any better. mate throws his bird up and i let bob off , bob just hit the deck wi

ive been getting my male harris down to flying weight after his molt , everything was going well then i started to notice his weight was taking some getting down , some days he was heavier than the dain the molty before and only gettin reduced feed , then the other day i heard him screaming and thought it was at the dog , but when i looked out the window i see him with a young rat in his feet , so its all become clear now why its been hard to get him down to weight . im now locking him in at night and have put a trap down , i wouldnt mind but i been paying £2.00 a rat while he was in the molt

i never used to carry much with me , and while out with a mate and his bird my female tried to pull a rabbit from under a fence and pulled a tallon clean off , pissing blood my mate pulls out a little bag with all sorts in it and gave me some pottasium crystals , they stopped the bleeding pretty fast and go nice and hard , with some germoline new skin applied a couple of times a day i had my bird back out within 2 weeks , so now i allways take a little pouch with bits and bobs in . cheers mick
