Mine too are very headstrong, iv had a couple of collars these have been the best they are 100% waterproof and do the job also they have dual channels so both dogs can be controlled with one transmitter .http://www.mightypets.com/product.asp?3=1418 . The previous one i had the dog went in the river and ruined it .

  4. Hi, Iv got two beagles , i had to buy electric collars as a few times i couldnt get em back . Since buying the collar s they are differnt dogs i never have to electrocute them they return with a small bleep .

  7. Thanks all for your advice, Iv made my mind up and decided to get a .177 either a Air arms 400 or possibly a BSA ultra.

  11. Hi, i want to buy a 2nd hand PCP, but id like to know what people think are best value for money? I personally like the sound of the Air arms 400 and 410,I have around £300 to spend on the gun preferably with scopes.Thanks James

  14. Hi, Im going to buy a gas gun soon im not sure of what to buy a 177 or a 22. Speaking to a friend he thinks i should get a .177 as the trajectory Of the pellets are flatter. I Will be using it for shooting mainly bunnys and birds maybe a bit of target shooting. Im probably going to buy the AA 400 or 410. Thanks in advance, James.
  15. Great shooting Zini, DVD arrived yesterday was really impressed with the footage and the shooting was awesome. . Only problem was my laptop i couldnt quite hear evrything you were saying so i put it on the TV Looking forward to the next DVD

  17. Yeah pretty sure all beagles do it,both of mine do. Depends what you want out of your dog really.
  18. Hi , I have two beagles they are ok at rabbiting will chase and flush but are normally too slow to catch them.Generally they are not great rabbiting dogs they are very very hard to recall when on a scent also very loud. Great dogs tho and have great stamina
