I have been using 40gn Vmax using VV N133 and also use 55gn Sierra BK again VV N133 and there is not much difference on the POI , so no need to adjust scope HTH

Here we have my old faithful Deben MK1 Ferret Locators , I am having a clear out of my loft during lock down and came across these , I offered them to my grandson who just laughed as he has the Mk3 , One of them picks up his collars to about 5ft and seems fine ,and the other about 2/3ft, one has had a speaker replacement, what happened we were out rabbiting got soaked told the grandson to sit it near radiator but being a kid then he sat it on the radiator so the box developed a shape (see pic) but actually feels good in the hand, and the speaker got damaged this box is also very low volume , was always going to get someone to fit an earpiece or another speaker in it but as usual never got round to it , they have a lot of wear and tear outside as would be expected as a working tool , so one box working to 5ft and other 2/3ft but might need recalibrating etc so listing as parts with no returns please been as honest as I can with these , I am pretty sure I have more kit up there but old age catching up so memory not as good ,lol but will list them if I come across them if the grandson turns his nose up again lol£140

If you are attaching it to a scope then the range wont be an issue, but you dont want any mag IE 4x 6x etc etc ideal would be 1x just botch it up to try it and if all fine you can look at an alternative DSA
-
They will do for Rimmy no bother but I would pay extra for decent camera etc will pay for its self in the long run.
-
Thanks for the reply Ian,I have the Mk 1 at the moment and use it day and night with doubler and T 20 on my .22 Rimmy and find it ok apart from the POI shift if too heavy handed putting in gun bag or back of car etc, other than that great value for money, problem with the 50 mm XT is wont be able to use the doubler as was thinking of it for my .223 the other thing is they usually have teething problems with new lines and its not till they get used in the field that these come to light,so could be the summer before I decide unless they have been tested else where like the states etc tks Jim
-
Hi Ian have you tried out the 6.5x XT yet whats the field of view like and how close can they focus to,and anything else you can say about it much app Jim
-
Nice bag lads looks like a great day out apart from wet feet,PS where did you get the net pouches and harness ?
