    if you take him keep him calm and as stedy as posible............make sure if any bolt and miss the net dont let go of him as running at 5month old is not going do anything other than ruin him mate.when the rabbit hits the net let him have a hold of it but dispatch it instantly in the net and repeat to him the comand HOLD then take it of him and reset the nets.have him sitting in between your legs and kep stroking his sides tio keep him calm.this is waht i do on there first couple of ferreting trips anyway..

    id go with something more along the lines of a staghoundxgrey put to a bull it will be more than capable of catching and holding hogs and no mither when travling wioth it.if its because you have a jag and want to cross it to something to use for hog catching and holding......purt it to another jag....if it aint broke dont fix it....

    when i had my fhh mate i kept bond with her all through the moult she would let me pic her up with out glove no mither.....i no acouple of people who do it the same way and i and them never had a problem with feathers.

    im sure flood lights would work. id go with white bulbs and not red tho (jmo).my old man uses just a normal house hold extension light for his pigeons.........a couple of flood lights set on timers should do the trick .
