  5. is there no one you could gift theses pups to mate.if your struggling to shift them offer them to genuine lads local to you so you can see how they get on.i no rearing pups is expensive and that its good to draw back a bit of the expense you payed out rearing them but surly getting decent working homes for them is more important than getting the coin back.atb with finding then new homes tho mate and all the best for the season.
  6. good dog that, reading on the Oz site that they use big dane xs and bullxs most on pigs there, but few still like to use stags, as they can catch alot more other quarry than the other xs.? I've got a dvd where there hunting hog in oz and all of his dogs are pit x dane cros stags.said that if they dint have stag in them then they wouldn't catch half the hogs that they do.but he also has bull x pits with only a small percentage of stag in them to hold the heavier boars.......there's a clip were he shows a hog which is running and jumping over fallen logs and I must say for a big hog they sure ca
  7. Bit of both for me as I eat 99% of what I(the dogs)kill.but also love a good chase.like been said if it was just the kill then I'd just shoot.I've seen dogs catch hares wat should av got a way(ended up hiting a ditch or lump of ground) and ened up been caught wich me personaly would let go to run another day as they desserved to get away as they out classed the dogs but due to a mistake were caught.

  16. why what would be the difference..... The difference would be that a dog that needed a coat in September would severely suffer come the middle of winter and wouldn't be much use on a full days work in the ice cold and snow .......... the dog has thin skin which i believe most (if not all ) whippets have and im sure there's plenty off people who run pure whippets through out the winter and have no problems with cold and snow.and like he put in his post the coat is to stop from rain not cold.........if i owned a whippet (which i wouldn't unless a whippet lurcher)and was out doing a da
  17. most of the ones iv seen are very how can i say with out offending the saluki boys.............mard...........they like to be with the owner they are normally timid and layd back....my mate had one and if he raised its voice at it it would be off like a shot and would take him ages to get him to come back...allot of patience is needed with salukis (from the ones iv seen )
  18. if it pissing down of rain out side you put a coat on .........so why not put one on the dog...i no if my dogs lived in the house and it was pissing down with rain id put a coat on if it saved me drying the dog when i got home....how do you all no he was out working the dog for all anyone noes he could just be exercising the dog and if that's the case and its pissing down is the coat going do any damage???? other than ruin his street cred by walking round with a dog in a coat which from my guess is that the lad doesn't give two shtis what anyone thinks..
