I have a border terrier pup, last after after we had been out he started being sick , i thought nothing of it because he is allways eating all kinds of shit , next thing it started comming out at both ends , i picked him up and he was soaking wet , i was starting to get worried now , i called the vet and got a emergency appointment at 8 oclock at night , the vet put him on a drip and gave him antibiotics i was going to leave it till next morning , thank god i didnt , the vet said he wouldnt have made it through the night . He managed to pull through, the vet said it was gastro intereritus

hello ,i was feeding my dogs burns dog food with raw chicken wings heart liver ect, to up the protien , my 6 month old dog got a real bad case of gastrointerritus, where he got it from?, i dont know , it nearly killed him and cost me 300 quid to put right im trying orijen at the moment basically for convienience, but i going to get the book you recomended and try the barf diet when he is older. thanks , darlo

why would i want a pat on the back ?also im just trying this food out it might not be that expensive if you can feed less ,the ADVICE you gave was trying to funny at my expense ., and i would not keep a dog if i had to feed it on that wagg rubbish , but if it suits you fine .

thats for a 14 kilo sack delivered to the door , also its high protien so you feed less , fair enough it costs a bit more ,its supposed to be good stuff and its convinient for me , i was asking for a bit of advice , not your opinion how i spend my f*****g money.

hello i have two border terriers a bitch 3 years and a 6 month old dog , is it ok to feed both dogs on orijen adult dog food , the protien level in the adult and puppy food is the same , its 60 quid a bag and cant afford both adult and puppy versions . thanks darlo.

I have a spayed border bitch , before xmass i was after border dog to work with her I got in touch with a bloke from this forum called Dave mac , he told me hemight have a pup available in the spring , i thought no more about it then i got a pm telling me there was a pup if i wanted it , me and my wife traveled from durham on saturday to pick up a beauty blue and tan dog pup from working lines,Dave could have got at least threetimes the money that i paid him ,all he wanted was the dog to get a working and permanant home , which i garrantee he will , Dave is in the game for his love of the wor

hello, my border terrier bitch is two years old and has only been in season once .and that was very light , can anybody tell me why this is, is it a sign of inbreeding ,i dont want to breed her im just curious, thanks

I have have a border terrier bitch 22 months old who is a great busher would spaying reduce hunting instinct. ive been told diffrent things for and against it. thanks.

she is comming up 2 years old and gets plenty of exercise everyday so should be fit. we were a week in a caravan and after her walk she would spend all day stareing at squirrels through the caravan window they really drove her mad , i wonder if this has anything to do with it. thanks. darlo

Hello. I came back from the lakes yesterday my border terrier dog did a lot of bushing and running about ,she is now staying in her basket all the time eating and drinking a little very out of sorts there is alot of small grey white small lumps on her chest. i was thinking tics but they dont look like them, ive got an appointment at the vets at 4 oclock, anybody got any ideas?

I have a small border bitch just over a year old. she has never been out with any other dog but she picked it up on her own, she is a great little busher, its hard to get her to stop, i would like to get her ratting with another dog but dont know any body to go with any help would be much appriciated, thanks darlo theres a few lads around your way mate that goes out.there is lads with lurchers around there now that never dreamed of having them when i used to live there [18yrs ago ] and they used to thimk what i did was cruel and now they are doing it atb. out with my dog today. she ran into a piece of wood sticking out of the ground. there is a contact wound just a scrape at the front of her shoulder she was limping but was still interested in hunting and stll eating. Is it all right to wait and see how it developes bofore consulting a vet?
