  1. Thank you for all the PM's and interest in the gun it is now sold pending. This is an english hammer gun with 30" brls choked 1/4 and full. The brls are recently professionally reblued, they have a couple of very small pits in otherwise faultles bores with no scoring or other signs of wear and very useable being nitro proofed (at 2 1/2") and lockup is tight. Length of pull is 14 1/4" to front trigger. The engravings of the dog & pheasants are very nice & the camera doesn't do them justice. The forend has a horn tip. I would like to trade for a 20g or 28g sbs or a 20g semi auto (not Tur
  2. not sure but looking at the design of the nipple etc I think that might be a modern percussion replica and as such may have to be "on ticket", look in the Henry kranke online catalouge to see if you can find a match.

HI MATE, IVE BEEN TRYIN TO CONTACT YOU REGARDING THE FERRETS YOU HAVE

  4. Sorry for not replying earlier lads, I couldn't use the computer at work today and I've just got in. It's a 1+2 shot so will go on a sg permit. I've had quite a few pms for this and will start replying by PM right now with my phone number. I live in South Shields but as a one off will be in Masham (Bedale)on Saturday early evening please call me ASAP if you get a pm Cheers
  5. Cheers, bet you didn't see the ferret I've just spotted it!
  6. My son has pestered me to find him a 20 bore Pump for ages. He did have a 410 mossy when he was younger but he never tried to shoot any pigeons with it. I finally managed to buy this one just tonight!!! from a very nice guy in Richmond but when I got it home my son's glee subsided as the reality of small boy in hide coordinating trigger finger and "pumpy bit" and pigeons dawned on us both! So after 4 hours of ownership, and not even warming the barrel, here it is up for swaps or p/x, for a semi auto or sbs (20 bore or even a 28 bore). About the gun; This is a Stevens/Savage 67E 20g
  7. Bluing worn? Barrel dented? rib dented? loose rib or fillets? shot slack? Choke cross threaded? Extractor buggered :shout: Or even tied in a knot?!?
  8. Hi not sure why but the site is prohibiting me from putting this in the dogs for stud section, mods please move if in the wrong section, anyway here goes. We have a german wire haired pointer "Joss" he's 10 now and we would dearly like puppy from him. If anyone has a bitch and is thinking of having a litter please get in touch. Here he is on the right with my son back in November. Happy to email pedigree. Many thanks

  10. Very very good price mate shouldn't last long!
  11. Handful of posts or not, I know that sellers need to state a price , it's a fairly standard rule on most forums, you know your goods, you set the bar. As for me giving you "grief" I prefer to think of it as providing a learning experience (that you haven't taken on board yet) you obviously don't want it but you certainly do need it, you still haven't stated a price! As for me "not bothering to respond" Paraphrasing your own words; I'm also entitled to express an opinion. Good luck with the sale!!
  12. Sir, I consider your comment that my offer is ridiculous, to be offensive. The only reference I can find to a browning A5 is from a dealer on guntrader who is asking £100 (say £ after a "chat") £60 in relation to the afore-mentioned dealer is a reasonable and proportional offer in my estimation, considering that you have not bothered to post pics and that your "really good condition" comment is less descriptive than I would expect of my 10 year old talking about her toys, and that you are a private person offering the gun without guarantee. Given your comment I suppose I should
  13. Without seeing a picture or having anything else to go by can I offer £60
