  1. hi paul lol there is always a sling buddy regards davy your right mate. the buckle on my sling came undone last week, while it was over my shoulder. the gun crashed to the ground, landing on the scope, and totally crippling it. the eye bell, had come away from the mag ring. i managed to rezero it, but you could see it was all out of shape. couldnt risk taking a shot at live quarry with it like that, a mate has leant me a spare while i get a new one. lol the buckle must not have been fastened properly. person fault. maybe the slings should be made so that they cant be unfas
  2. i think the s410 would be a better rifle if you couldnt double load it. mistakes happen. and its down to human eror when someone double loads there rifle. but hw have taken this out of the equasion with the hw 100. so they have elimanated a person fault. therefore i think that this becomes a product fault on the s410. after all if hw can do it, why cant air arms.
  3. oh sh@t. iv got noodle arms lol. must agree though. top rifle.
  4. sorry should have said, that was without scope. also bamfords in euxton nr chorley had an ultra in 177, last week. £199. dont know if its still in? check website. r. bamfords
  5. i bought an ultra single shot, last year but one s/h from bpool air rifles.£190. and have just got a raider 10 from the same place. that would fall within that budget.
  6. i agree with whats already been said. i love watching the sparrow hawks work. im lucky enough to live backing on to a big steep banking covred with trees. and this time of yr the sparrow hawk comes at least twice a day to ambush birds feeding on the bird feeders or table.
  7. cant fault the raider at all. i love it. was gonna keep this til xmas, then trade it in for a bsa r10. but il tell you what. this is a keeper. il just have to save a bit more and buy the r-10 outright. not letting this one go lol. iv not been this happy with a rifle since i had the hw 100. im not saying its as good as the hw, but im shooting as good if not better with this. i think it just suits me better, its a bit lighter and easier for me to manage being of slight build. ive just put to mags through it at 25 mtrs. every one well inside a 10 pence piece, pellet on pellet. i cant ask for mo
  8. it stayed ok for a while then started playin up again. so i got rid of it last saturday. traded it in and got a raider 10. im well pleased with it.
  9. cheers for the replies lads. the axsor had not long been in for a service and all new seal but i just couldnt get on with it all, which, in turn affected my confidence with the rifle.
  10. well managed to get rid of the webley axsor at the weekend. I had nothing but problems with it.i traded it in for a webley raider 10. i was pleasently surprised. it is very accurate.especially compared to the axsor. i went out on sunday morn, to have a look at a place that has had a bit of a squirrel problem. me and a mate had been the week before and had a few, but this was the first time out with the raider. on arriving i saw a squirrel sat 20 yrds away in a tree while i was still in the car park. this was in full view of the road and the general public, so was a non starter. i went through
  11. the mk 1 has the bonded silencer on it (not the screw on one) and no quick fill fitting on the front of the air canister.
  12. on the allotments that i go to. the owners throw stale bread to their hens, aswell as the normal food. the rats drag the bread down the burrows to eat it. i have found bread to be the best bait for the cage traps. a few weeks ago i lifted some platic roof sheets on the allotments, about 50 yrds from the nearest hens. and there must have been half a loaf under there. the next day it was gone. also have you tried smoking them out to the dogs??
  13. there was a black one in a cemetary not far from me a couple of years ago. there was quite a few sightings. then it dissapeared for a few days. the next time it was seen, it was dead. presumed piosoned. then there was a sighting of one about 20 miles away from there. last year.
  14. all i can say is its a top rifle. the worse thing i ever did was get rid of mine. but we live and learn. all the best with it. you wont be dissapointed.
  15. try a hw 99s. £200 but then youl need a scope. i had one of these. it was the best springer iv ever owned. iv had the , the 90, and the 97, but i rated the 99s over the others. maybe its because im small build, but id have another, deffo.
  16. cheers mate. how many shots per fill.?

I just love the frocks  dred to think how much an average wedding costs .. more than i earn a year i know, can you imagine how many oaps have been conned out of their hard earned cash just to pay for the thieving feckers weddings not to mention robbing anything thats worth owt and all the money they save by fly tipping and not paying tax and then they glorify the thieving kunts by making a programme about em ..er no i didnt watch it yep i used to drive a tipper wagon. was on the tip once, when the gypos turned up in thier w

  21. cheers mate. how many shots per charge do you get? and what sort of price range for a good s/hand one? i want something with a really good shot-fill ratio
  22. at the moment i have a webley axsor, and am thinking of upgrading, as im not altogether happy with the performance of this rifle. in the past iv had a hw 100, a daystate and a bsa ultra. all of which i have prefered to the axsor. the best being the hw. 100carbine. the question is what to go fornext. i want something with good accuracy and a good shot count per refill, if im honest the hw was probably a touch heavy for me, is this something i could get over with more practice/use. or would i be better suited with something a bit lighter. i found the hw very accurate when taking supported or res
