i had the same trouble with my saluki bitch,you could slip her on the lamp and she would be off to where you saw the first rabbit and hunt up every field,just walks next to me in the daytime when i want her to hunt up,i just gave up but run of the slip shes mustard on big rabbits,good luck shes my last saluki ever but horses for courses

get a pair of lowa combat gtx,ive tried loads of makes over the years and the lowa are the best so far,my mate who was in paras etc!told me to get them as all the army lads buy them out there own money cos of the comfort and quality,and they can be resoled too,1 year everyday ive worn mine and havnt had wet socks once,meindle tear your feet to shreds had 2 different types and sold them both

go with a nice racy pup with a good head and jaw(boxy),good look hope you pick a good one,its hard to see what youve got at 4 or 5 weeks though,watch them play and some will have a bit extra than the others then just narrow it down to say 3 or 4 and watch them play eat etc,trust your instincts and youl pick a winner mate

dont over do it with a pup,take your time bones wont have set and its easy to blow a young dog,ive a bullx pup seven and a half months,woudnt let him run out yet hes been lamping to watch but is nowhere near ready to run ,still runs puppylike,take your time and good luck with your pup,plenty summer night walks and sunshine,be ready for next season -

the best terrier ive ever seen work won many many shows in the summer,but worked all winter and a bit through the summer aswell dug to this dog dozens of times over a good few seasons,and he lacked nothing as an earth dog as many other people would agree,just was a tidy looking dog as well as worker,he wasnt mine wish he had been,went to america in the end to see if they could breed some stuff over there,so why cant you have a tidy looking worker,best of both words id say

to be honest ive had one for years used to have her daughter but fights got bad so i rehomed her,there ok for a knock about but would say there were better breeds for hunting,like a bullxgreyhound but if its its just for a bit of fun go for it,they do have a hard bite and always seem keen at holes,but downside is breathing ability when the have hold of somthing and agility,just my opinion,my little bitch used to work the cover ok and did catch the odd rabbit and rat over the years shes 13 this summer so dont go out now,she used to only be 35lb fit and 18 inches,but her sire was 90lb and had so
