looking to get an air rifle but hear i need a licence for 1... any way around this?? loop holes etc also a suggestion for a nice simple gun would be handy preferably bolt action.... is only to pop bunnies few rabbits here and there maybe the odd rat crow etc cheers, brian.

ok, have my litter of polecat ferret kits almost 3 weeks old 5 are gone silver/grey but 1 little dude is snow white..... whats the chances of an albino kit from polecat parents? is it common?? ill post some pictures tomorow

my dogs the complete opposite will retrieve anything to hand but when he catches a rabbit he will just stop maybe 8-10 feet away no matter how long you wait he just stands there.... but hey dont expect them to be perfect otherwise you will be let down ALOT

im studying this shit at the minute... it depends on many factors easiest way to explain is say you have a rough coat big bitch crossed a smooth small dog.... the bitch for arguments sake does not carry the genes for smooth coat or to be small....the dog the opposite as he cannot well say bitches genes are RRBB (capitals are dominant over small letters) dogs are rrbb so you have RRBB x rrbb genes given RB x rb pups RrBb all will be big and roughbut carry the genes for small and smooth unfortunately you cant figure this out without getting DNA samples from dogs e

ya maybe your right but this is in the backarse of nowhere..........iv gotta hand it to the dog though he busts his gut 4 me every time never let me down as of yet and he keeps the ferrets fed anyone any suggestions on how to get closer to the bunnies???

ok its been driving me insane for the past 3 months..... my dog is lightning fast..... hes dialled into the lamp but the catch rate is very poor.......... despite these places rarley being lamped and only ever by me..... the rabbits sit close to the ditch and foxes run on the sight of a lamp (dont even get to call them)..... my dog puts in up to ten runs on a bad night and the most iv caught is 5 out of 20. hes well able to run and pick them up so i think i must be at fault.... any tips on how i can give him a better chance on the rabbits.... id like to get closer to them most slip

no mate i wasnt poaching but i think it was to do with coursing long ears, but the fact is if you have permission what business is it of theres. these boys just hunt the land same as myself with permission they dont own the fecking hares. a mate had his whippet shot about a week ago...... and i wouldnt mind except when we were confronted we slipped up the dogs and were heading home only reason my dog wasnt shot is we jumped on him........... no point going to the cop shop cause we get done for poaching that c**t will get his dues tho.... his gun was returned to him after going in
