    Hiya Gary. What a cracking post mate, enjoyed the read very much. Brilliant nights shooting, and what a bonus getting the other permission. I reckon that Farmer will be inviting you to look after even more ground eventualy. After a 12 hour stint, I think anyone would have been knackered.     Hiya Neil. What a stunning Rifle mate, very nice indeed. When you say right time right place, did you pick her up second hand? Have you shot her yet, and what are you feeding her on.....177 or .22? Lovely wood on her too mate. Is it just me......or doe's that scope look a bit high? Congrats Buddy,happy hunting. ATB. Bill.

    Hi Jack. Sometimes overlooked with springers, are you loading the pellet into the breach gently and carfully, so it sit's properly? If it sits in there on the pizz, it will give erractic shooting too. Just a thought mate, another one to explore. ATB. Bill.

    Hiya Davy. Another good stalk mate, and good shooting. If you can see that Bunny down the hole with your torch, try a 4/0 trebble fishing hook taped to a twig, and hook the little git out of there. ATB. Bill.

    Hiya Sib. I dont reckon a deformed skirt is that big a problem on the softer pellets. Once the pellet gets the blast of air up its arze, I reckon it must blow the skirt back out again anyway. Ive put some deformed skirts through the 98 while plinking, and they were spot on at the target. Make's you wonder? Bill.

    Hiya Jack. Sounds like your having a bit of a nightmare mate. The obvious one's that come to mind......are the pellet's clipping the moderator? Try taking it off and gently tapp it on some white paper, see if there is any swarf. Sounds like you have checked the rifle screw's etc. Re the Scope, yes you can dammage it if you tighten the mounts too much, you can crush the tube, and damage the reticle. I know some dont like cleaning the barrel, but it may be worth a try, then led it back in, and try again. Could be you mate, poor body position, and head position is favo

    Hiya guy's. Congratulation's on your new rifles. What a fantastic fella your Uncle is, with a hreat of gold too. Are you insured for the Rifle's? If you are then good on you, if not, it might pay you to use the money you saved to get some in place. Hope I dont sound like Im preaching to you, but being insured will give you peace of mind and hold you in good stead should you get stopped one day. Just a thought guy's.
