Falcon lighthunter-BSA Ultra multi ???
Sweeney-Todd replied to Sweeney-Todd's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
Hiya James. Thank you for your valued thoughts and knowlage buddy. I understand what your saying re the TDR, and I did give it a lot of serious thought. It is a very versatile rifle, I just do not think Id get on with it. I think what's putting put me off the TDR is the fact it's quite skeletal, of course its meant to be, that's the design. So the search goe's on ATB. Bill. -

Haven't put it up for sale anywhere yet though. Great rifle for what you require and nice and light. See how highly the gamekeeper in this months Airgun mag rates it. Chers Sib Hiya Sib. Hiya Guys. At the moment Im shooting an HW100T .22 and love it to bits. Im now looking for a light weight rifle for hide shooting and woodland cover. I have been sooooo close to buying the Ultra, but the Falcon has taken my eye too . Fromm all you guy's that shoot these two, Id appreciate your feelings and findings. I know that the Ultra benifits from a HW silencer upgrade, how quiet is the Falcon, and doe's that need an upgrade too?? Thanks in antisipation. ATB. Bill.

zeroeing bsa meteor with essential scope
Sweeney-Todd replied to ngbacon's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
Hiya Buddy. Check that you have not over tightened the the scope mounts, you may have crushed the tube and damaged the reticle. Or could be the scopes knackered anyway, try another scope on the rifle and try again. Just a thought. Good luck. Bill. -

Gary: It fecking did! Davy: When I'm by myself my static shoots can have me prone for up to 6 hours (like it did in the snow). I thought perhaps someone else was lamping last year, but there has been no sign of anyone else. I think its the direction of the lamp that scared em. I went out this evening and well thats tonights story Stealthy: Fresh Air? I'm only feet away from the constant deisel and petrol fumes off the busiest road in the area, If I fart I considder the odour a breath of fresh air Bill: I was actually thinking somewhere along the same lines of that when out this e

Hiya Jasper. Good shooting again buddy. That pie is going to be huge the way your going ATB. Bill.

Hiya Tony. What a nightmare mate If the bunnies dont mind the car lights sweeping across, I wonder if a static light at the end of the paddock would work? You could try putting an old car battery up there in the corner during daylight, rig an old 12volt light up to it up in a tree /bush, or even attach to a pole. Run the wires back to your static shooting position with a dimmer switch, leave the light on very dimly where they show, and give it a go. As you have little cover in the paddock, it may work for you mate, might be worth a try buddy. ATB. Bill.

Shay......your just as bad as that Phantom Chap ( Tony ) TWISTED the pair of you. Having said that.......I suppose I'd breast be off now.......Taxiiiii ATB. Bill.

Rabbit Skull Kill Zone
Sweeney-Todd replied to Marksman's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
OOOPS.....sorry Darryl and Davy......I put it down to a senior moment.......and yes.......the Whiskey too -
Just my two penneth. The HW98 is a solid and very accurate rifle, although a little heavy. Adjustable cheek pice and butt plate, and excellent trigger mech. An absolute joy to shoot. Prone to creeping up ftlbs so need to keep an eye on it, otherwise cant fault it. Worth adding a sling to shoulder while walking. Be good if you could try a few, shoulder them and get the feel of them. Good luck with your choices. ATB. Bill.
