    Its only a joke because they got caught.Love the way it says the deer is still alive off course it is you caught them and them didnt get chance to kill it cut it up and bring it home but at lest they get to keep there dogs and van or car.

Its OK saying your dog does things with teeth have dogs that do that as well but when its comes to deer the wrong move can be the last move????

    Why not???? A hare in a big open field on the lamp against a lamping dog as the same chance off getting always when getting chased by a coursing dog during the day and are fare game in my eyes. Dont understand why the hare has all this rules no lamp ,no snow,one dog, but its ok to lamp rabbits and fox and deer???? Its ok to put needs over rabbit holes and putting ferret in and dogs out side where the chance off it getting away. Same goes for a fox in a dead end where is the chance off it getting away???? To much rules for hares in my opinion. any wanker of dog could catch one switch ur

    Had one about 15 years ago (whippet x deerhound) called bitch a small hairy wee dog and a great all rounder could do everything l asked off her and more. Had too dig her out few times when out with the terriers and a bitch that l should have never let go.

    From what I read on this forum, that seems to be the best way, dont it! Taking a young dog out with an experienced dog to get them seeing how they do it. and is it right that summer rabbits are easier for them to catch, as they are not so wise? Easy to catch because they are full off young and to busy trying breed then think about you and your dog. For me the best way to bring on young dog is with older dog but make sure the older dog knows what its doing and as no bad habits that the young dog could pick up.

    Some deerhound crosses take longer to come on then most crosses.Be good if you could mate up with someone as working luchers that could show her the ropes all the best

    Just read it and don't think anything he wrote was wrong and if so where was he wrong???? Most whippet greyhounds are breed just for the shows and its mostly this dogs that win the races and shows because they look the part. Was at show last year and over heard a women who came 2nd in the racing saying she was putting a full greyhound out off good racing lines to her bitch that just came 2nd(whippet x grey). l was like why does she not get into greyhound racing???? How does any lucher have a chance up against a greyhound whippet x greyhound ????

    My two older bitches do this some dogs just don't like being on the break and go wired nothing to worry about they soon come out off it.

    Maybe he as a point read a book not long ago saying...that any sighthound breed to another sighthound is a longdog and no lucher???? A lucher is when a sighthound is crossed with something else>>>> collie,bull,wheaten etc etc
