  1. i heard that said before,,,, i wonder is there any truth in that and how it could be that a track grey would make a better fox dog that a coursing grey???? are coursin greys not often used on the track too and vice versa???? i dont really understand why either! but thats a mates opinion and like i say hes had a few!
  2. :11: :11: http://img127.imageshack.us/img127/1540/dogs087sn7.jpg i do own a rifle,here he is.
  3. and you've been into bullxs how long bitch ?????????????????? cpl of weeks i think you used to have a greyhound 3/8 5/8 has got to be one of the best all rounders by far rob i seen you walking the dog at the midland and i know that pic dont do it any favours. youcant beat a bit of bull . ps bitch my bitch was not just a rabbiting dog or rubbish vince if you read the f*****g post, its 5/8 bull 3/8 grey, thats more than half x and some half x strugghle to catch fox.as for your bitch being a rabbit dog,you know who told me that and hes seen her run.and yeah i only had me bull x couple of months
  4. only one job for this breeding so why noy use full
  5. a mate has had a few in the last few years both coursing and ex track, the track dogs all seem to go to fox better, and he wont let his bull x dogs line anything that wont go to charlie and i havent heard of any of the pups that wont do fox

thought about it alot since i lost him, maybe it was all the shit pumped into him on the track, maybe i overworked him. i had to keep reminding myself he was not a lurcher, and did not have there endurance

    OVER 18 ONLY!!

gone home with a few of them
  9. You obviously are new to the game so i wont go on .. Nobody in there right mind want's a ferret to kill and lay UP.. .. if i had one that laid up i would shoot it no question's asked.. Now if the ferret kill's a rabbit that wont bolt then get's dug to then MOVES on to the next in a short space of time that will have a place in my hutch all day long.. Millet i,ve done enough, but if i,ve got to dig i,d rather be doing it to a terrier, not fecking dead rabbits!!!!!!
  10. and why would you wont your ferret to kill and lay up???? digging all fecking day!!
  11. sometimes you dont know you,ve gone to far with the inbreding until they are still born or freaks,in the pic i posted earlier you will see the dam, but 1 jill and 1 hob and thats all that survived out of a litter of 9.the rest had no use of there back legs.
  12. on a friday night i,m not bothered
  13. firstly i didnt say no hobs just small hobs, and yes the ferrets are fully grown like i said its taken a long time to get them this size, mostly by another member(wife) and another friend of ours. squirells will use wood pecker holes and other holes and cracks in trees also gaps and holes in dry stone walls, get a terrier that will stone cold mark squirell and away you go,most ferrets will jib after a couple of seasons on the squirells though.
  14. 2 mins up the road from me in pontypool. shit hole mate and you wont get much hunting between dog boys and local rifle brigade.sorry to piss on your mates chips but its true
  15. smaller ferts for me any day.use mine for ratting and bolting squirells as well as rabbiting so bigger stuff no good.plus bigger ferrets more digging.ferts in pic very small jills from years of inbreeding. http://img80.imageshack.us/img80/345/runs006sn5.jpg
  16. agree with that mate, same local to me. what makes me laugh is the fact that half the rifle brigade got dogs sat at home in the run. what sport is poping something sat motionless 100 yrds away with big scopes.

i,d look for nice male up in the leg, with a strong head but not heavy in bone. but it still dosent guarantee a dog capable of catching charlie.

    BLACK BUNNIES

Funnily enough, Pat; It was while working on a Game Farm that I first became aware of melanistics. Because we did indeed have several melanistic pheasents. Then there was a big craze for " Leuticsm " (spelling?) in the reptile fancy, not so many years ago. A 'Leutistic' creature lacks pigmentation. Thus ye'd have pythons which, where they should have been brown and gold, were more coffee and yellow. Like albino ferrets, only without the pink eyes. But ye know how the sebacious glandular activity messes up an albino ferrets snow white fur and stains it yellow? Ok. Well these snakes and liz
