There worth 10x more in reality for the sport they provide us...many people disregard ferrets as just ferrets but they are awesome little creatures... badly undervalued by most hunters... Don't breed them unless you want some yourself or you can 100% get rid of them to good homes. Couldn't agree more Ian.... A sensible piece of advice
  8. It's certainly been about in South Wales
  9. I'm looking for info on Irish Wheaten Terriers..... :search: I've heard some good stuff about the breed recently, but have never seen one. What do you use them on to best effect? Can anyone recommend them and does anyone have any pics they could post on the site? Thanks in anticipation of your response.........

  13. Do any of you ladies/gents ferret sand dunes or areas which the ground contains a fair amount of sand? I know that some of the welsh lads on here have been working various dunes and was wondering is it difficult to dig to your ferrets, with the potential for tubes to collapse? :search: I only tend to work woodland and fields, so therefore haven't worked such areas as dunes....

  16. I took a walk today way over the back fields and I could here them calling to each other clear as a bell, thankfully one of my neighbours in nearly deaf . Take Care Tony I know what you mean Tony, only the other day I was out ferreting and could hear my wife in the back garden "talking" to a neighbour... Mind you, I was in the Westcountry at the time and I live in South Wales!!
