    They will get caught occasionally mate , i dont work mine with a locator collar all the time as i have had a bad experiance of my hob getting his collar caught in the tree roots .

    Thats good to hear mate , its not essential if the pup makes the grade as a ferreting dog but would be nioce if it could do a bit of that as well

    The two what i have now ? I only have one other dog and she is a lakie x I have no idea what will happen to her after the breeding and she's ex track so never done anything in the field

    Can you explain what you mean by houndy ?? Roxy i know it is down to how i socilise the pup with the pugs , i was thinking more of how it will take to ferreting , i know saluki x's are not the usual choice for a ferreting dog as they are more at home at the chase i suppose only time will tell

    A guy in my town is having this as a planned breeding after christmas dam is the greyhound sire is a saluki x grey . Have had a few nights on the lamp with the sire and he is mustard on the lamp , also good daytime Dam is a rescue grey hound from a track that he has rehomed for this breeding . Whats everyones opinion on this cross , will these throw to the sire or the dam ? I will want it as a day and night dog and maybe a ferreting partner although i'm not fussed if it doesn't take to ferrets .

    I have a terrano, mate. Dunno if they're identical or not, but the terrano is a pile of sh1te. It handles like a trawler, goes like a slug, but refuses to stop with anything less than a weeks notice. It has constant electrical problems and breaks down so often, i've been invited to the RAC mans wedding. It's an 02 plate and it cost over 800 quid to MOT this year. If Mavericks are even close to terrano's on build quality and reliability, then avoid it at all costs. I dont think the earlier ones had as much trouble as the later ones bert , the earlier ones are not bad on juice and min

    I saw one advertised for 400 quid the other day done 143k . i have a p reg that is the facelift model , good off road if fitted with some applicable tyres especially the short wheelbase . The electronic components can sometimes be a problem and can make you wanna tear your hair out but once you understand them , a simple little 4x4 to work on . However if your looking for a pure 4x4 that will go anywhere your looking at the wrong vehicle . ATB catchwrestler
