  3. Just a brace for the pot !!!! I suppose that makes it OK then ?? What a load of drivel spouted on here sometimes ! We have everything from Wannabees to Grizzly Adams it seems ?? I reckon we would be lucky if 5 % of you were poachers and the rest chancers !! In my opinion a real "poacher" certainly wouldnt post anything on here ! Unless they were retired! If you'd seen the bath filled with silver fresh from the river, pheasants at £2.40 a cock £2.20 a hen Hares £4 Roe £perlb with pluck still in not £1. a Kilo empty. 4. funny ya mention that, i know someone that has a .22 with silencer and uses it with great effect, combined with their night vision scope No night scopes around in the 70s and you didn't need them. Bit o moon and fluffy cloud . Re. Snares get up in the morning my boy you've got to get there before the hoodie never mind the keeper.Tut tut.It was with joy and delight that I chose to walk by night
  5. The dragnet was a great bagfiller also snares a silenced .22 deadly but a real poacher would never use a torch or lamp even in the thickest woods. The drag emptied the stubbles of coveys and pheasants the snares took rabbit, hare, pheasant and deer.A real poacher never gassed the rivers he netted or sniggered and never left a mess lest someone knew another was about also never went home the way he left.
