the other wierd thing about it is if you were walking along a normal path that had a four foot rail alongside it you'd know for a fact that even if you slipped and fell against that rail you wouldn't go over it.................and yet on the top of a tower with a four foot rail you know for a fact (in your head) that if you fall against that rail you'll do a WWF style topsy turvy over that rail and fall to you death, it's not just a possibility, it would definitely happen!

I was in northern pakistan going to do a glacier-crossing,we had to walk along a few kilometers of goat-track and shepherds paths to reach the glacier, some of the tracks barely had room for 2 people to walk abreast with loose rock and uneasy footings,I had an almost overwhelming compulsion to push a companion over when he paused to look over the edge,I think the drop was maybe 120-150 metres at that point,a long fall into a rocky valley bottom.  you should seek help bud, you have the making of a serial killer!!!!

Paul, just watching that film made my stomach do back flips and my bowells wanted to empty I bet you've watched it more than once though? I've watched it four times now and my arse is twitching every time!!!

There's a road in Scotland that runs along the side of a mountain and there's a very very low barrier and a sheer drop to one side. My sister ex was driving along it with my sister in the passenger seat and me in the back, it's bad enough being near a drop like that but when you're not in control it's 10 times worse. The f'cker saw how distessed I was getting so 'for a laugh' started weaving the car. I'm not joking, I honest felt like smashing his head into the ground when we finally got to the end, if I wasn't weak with exhaustion I think I would have done. Not sure exactly how long that

I don't know, it's well wierd isn't it.....you actually lean towards the drop! makes no sense whatsoever!

I'm well impressed with myself....I've single handedly made half the forum grey (including myself!) in one morning! I wont laugh at your stories, i can relate, i remember being at the top of a French castle, no health and safety and a 12 inch wall at the top, i lay on the floor and crawled back to the stairs............... it's horrendous isn't it! are you the same as me though, in that even though you have these experiences you still keep putting yourself through it? There's an aquaduct near me (http://www.chirk.com/aqueduct.html)....I managed to walk across it and then freak

Oh my word, again you have tears rolling down my cheeks  I nearly had tears running down my feckin cheeks at the time. At that moment if someone had have given me the option to take a tablet that would have instantly put me out of my misery I'd have taken it in a heartbeat! and those kids would have given me their fruit shoot to wash it down with!!!

it doesn't when you're flat as a pancake! I genuinely really stuggle to watch that video, I've got the worlds worst acrophobia though so that probably doesn't help! I'm going to get a brew to calm down! but the family would get it etc.. I used to do loads of rock climbing/mountaineering etc and the fear a heights never caused me any problems even if you fall off and get caught by the rope etc.. but I havnt done anything like that for about 10 years and seem to have become massively concerned about heights now. Even after watching that I know that when trying to go to sleep

you'd be battered all the way down I reckon cos it's not a straight fall. Last year I went to the top of the leaning tower of pisa, which is a fraction of the size of that. I literally almost shat myself and had to ask one of the tour guides if I could crawl underneath the bell to get back into the tower and down again, my mrs fimed it soooo humiliating! I have never been so relieved to feel solid ground again!!! Ouch that is bad.. i dont get it that bad and would do my best not to let anyone know i was shitting it but inside me head when at heights is not a good place to be th

You are wrong Mr Chartpolski. I asked that question because that was alot of meat caught. Reason why I asked "Do you sell to butchers, zoos ect? was because of the high number caught, nothing more, nothing less. How on earth you got to being an anti is beyond me, but very funny I've hunted from Dubai to Australia, a bit like yourself, although I do prefer Dubai working along side with the princes using salukis and hawks, can't beat it! you should try it.....oh you already have! Well done lads anti or no anti, it was still a stupid f'ckin comment.....I thought you were t

To put those sort of pictures on a site like facebook is bizarre beyond belief. Most people have got 'friends' on there that are either people from school who they've had nothing to do with for years, or people from work that they only know through work and don't know at a personal level. Anyone that's got any more than a dozen or so friends has almost certainly got someone in their list who doesn't agree with hunting....of any kind. Might not be an active anti, but they don't like what we do. So if you go and stick up a picture of a hare or fox, even if it is an old picture, you're just a
