  1. Finally got a semi decent camera I am clueless with all the settings and how to get the best from it.. Young dogs coming on a treat.. She was 8 months last week. The pugs belongs to my Mrs.. All the best dogmen have a handbag dog... Well thats what Fuji said Think they were after a feild mouse or shrew, got away what ever it was.. They were only "Flushing" to my sling shot tho
  2. Keep it on a lead.. TBH it would be a bloody pest whatever they decide..
  3. I could just not contemplate a pure. when a first cross out matches it in a few departments and rivals it in most others. If I had all the time & money in the world, I would consider it for a breeding program but that's still a lottery and maybe still end up with a duck egg. It would actually get on my nerves the limitations of a pure, I would be say " a lurcher would of had that snapped up" .
  4. Have a horlicks and a early one bud
  5. I will let my pal know.. He has the sister to my white bitch.. We tried and failed to get pups with Jims Snipe.. Shes a old bitch and never really had a full season.. Maybe wont break down again, but its good to know if she dose.. He would suite the land and type of work we do up ere
  6. Has he gone over many Bitches Snoop ?? He certainly can cut the mustard His he about 9 now ??
  7. I have pressure cooker to... Excellent of a stovies type dish.. I like the slow cooker,as you can just leave it running with out fear of it catching.. If I was shooting young rabbits this time of year(3/4 grown).. I would give them a quick wash, dice some veg such as peppers, courgette & abergine place them in chest cavity.. Rub rabbit all over with seasoned garlic butter and roast them in the oven.. serve with new pots and salad.. Its well nice..
  8. Yeah it will.. Its starting the cooking process salt or Acid (vinegar).. Its drawing moisture/liquid/blood out.. I have done it and have not done it.. I get some nice rabbits that eat heather on the fells, they taste different to the local rabbits. I have caught and cooked rabbits within the hour lol.. I was hard up few years back and I ate rabbit nearly everyday.. The slow cooker was never off.. Now I would rather give them to my dogs.
  9. I just skin rabbits, run them under the tap and cook them.. I aint had a pissy rabbit.. Used to work in restaurant's years back, often ordered rabbits in and most was stinking of burst shit bags.. Mind I have seen some shocking gutting skills
  10. I really don't know.. Will ask them in September
  11. I don't know why TBH.. Game dealer always want guts in and I have been told to hang them off other lads..
  12. What's the Abstract Sandy ??? Be a ball ache reading all that on a my wee phone
  13. I don't hang nothing.. Its away to the game dealers same night.. If I want a something for the pot its killed and cooked on the day.. I "once" hung a hare in the shed . I cant remember how long no more than 2/3 days it was awful The smell was sickening and the guts came out like treacle... Slung in in for the dogs and they never ate it either
  14. Two pair of boots FFS Be cheaper getting them re soled ??? I can get user manual on line its PDF 85 pages Mine will take a SD card and it has got a massive cartridge thing, its huge don't know what that is its 2 MG . I will have to read the manual cause its odd.. Might pop in Aldi or have a look on Amazon~ Ebay for bag.. Cheers.. Will get my pictures up when I am sorted Bar just going for a Jog just then, I have fecked on all day with it.. Its been on 3 walks and been messing about with it , in the house girlfriends garn mad
  15. I think your picture are really good.. Its them that's inspired me to get the camera lol.. I have always wanted one, but cost & priorities have also stopped me. Canny go wrong for £ and 3 months warranty. I am clueless, I have fiddled with mine and now its taking pictures at a snails place, it requires me to click ok after every picture its meant to be 4 frames per second. I think for a daytime wander camera is quite fun.. Will try the vid setting to.. Imagine would be good in a reed bed if you know the dog will flush on towards the camera.. What photo e
  16. Cracking pictures again.. Bet it was a nice walk up there.. The Cannon was £200. I believe thats a really good price.. I only paid £ was the fuji.. I wanted the cannon but if I got it, I would be wanting different lenses. It all mounts up. I needed a new tyre, that stung us lol. I am waiting on USB cable from amazon then I can load some up.. Took a couple of hundread pics this morning
  17. I must admit, its something I have never noticed in my own dogs. I used to feed twice aday & now only feed once.. I even given them a fasting day every now and then.. I do feed twice during the season when they are grafting hard..

    Depends on size fella..
  20. Seriously, I would ditch the Wilsons...muesli...dog's just ain't meant to eat that stuff...it's truly vulgar... Up the raw...add some veg and pasta, tinned oily fish and a good quality complete that has meat as the main ingredient...play around a bit...what works for someone else's dogs might not work for yours... Dog looks well...but it'll look even better if you ditch the Wilsons... This is worth a read...I certainly wouldn't feed it to my dogs... http://www.dogfoodanalysis.com/dog_food_reviews/showproduct.php?product=1961&cat=all thanks for that info mate, I got a sack
