Need Farmers For Uk Poaching Documentary
Giro replied to JthenH's topic in Deer Stalking & Management
If that impresses you lads.. You should see my faithful hounds on a flock of sheep.. I have one that can pull one down If that Fenton was mine, I would stick him on Gumtree.. -
Bones are good.. Pigs trotters are good for teeth, small avian carcasses and pigs & sheep's heads.. You will get them big bones for nothing or pence.. But will have to pay bit more for other stuff..

You seem to be getting a bit of interest.. I normally dont go out this time of year, but if you want to get out, pm me. What type of stuff do you want to get on film ?? My dogs will chase sheep and I can get mouthy with land owners. I even have had a few fist fights.. If that's what your after drop me a line.. I dont do badger baiting its to much hard work, but rabbits, hares and deer I am your man.. You wont get many genuine offers.. Most of these lads are yanking your chain.. If your in no rush I am more a summertime hunter.. It always seems better wi -

I am always poaching You can come and film me, if you blank my face out and carry my rabbits -
I always wondered what happened to "Sir Storm " I bred a litter 5/6 year ago.. Was fair bit of time and money if your going about it right.. Vetting the potential buyers, be prepared for time wasters, dreamers & idiotic chavs. I would of bred again if my bitch was younge, tho It is much easier to buy a pup in if you source the right litters Its difficult on here, folk bum dogs up that they see pretty pictures of.. Vins totally right

Most information on raw feeding advices bone should make up 10% of the diet.. I feed carcasses (Chicken or duck) meat ratio could be about that.. I feed necks and Pork or lamb ribs several times a week with extra flesh or mince. I don't really give the big beef ribs or knuckle bones.. Unless there was a nice bit of meat attached.. Some folk give big bones randomly as a treat.. I cant be arsed with them laying about, cause kick off's in the yard and in the summer encourage fly s

I aint paying a fiver for a grainy copy Needs to be decent quality
-
If anyone has a good copy.. I would like a another look.. Mine was pure grainy and hard to watch..
-
Diesel van - mine runs of fumes.. I do lot of walking but have to drive to the land - game dealers - then home.. Doubt a night out costs a tenner .. The Rabbits and hares more than cover the cost of fuel.

I would not bike mine before or after lamping.. Have biked before lamping to take the edge of a hyper and over keen dog. I would want my dog to save all its energy for the quarry.. If you aint driving and its that or nothing, I imagine i would have to do this or beg lifts.. I would feel bad if I had ran my dog hard or it had a few grewlers. Then it had to trott 5/6 miles.. Each to there own.. Just glad I have a van

First Lamping Film By Me, Great Runs Throughout
Giro replied to FERRETBOY's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
Unfortunately we don't have access to miles of moor and dales with enough rabbits to make easy pickings. We have to lamp what is available on the ground around here, we wasn't lamping inside any wood and our aim is to always get the rabbits towards the beam not away, that's something I have learned from Phils video but also from experienced lampers. The only times he had walked towards the dog was when she wasn't coming any closer, you watch till the end and he actually walks away from the dog to encourage her to bring it closer. Its lucky I wasn't filming my own bitch before her damaged f -

The yapping is the least of your problems.. Yous will kill that dog lamping in feilds with horses and through woods.. Your hardly giving it a chance.. All the rabbits were running away from the beam.. The lad will f**k its retrieve, walking towards every rabbit.. looks like he is struggling to brake its neck.. A right stretcher Lloyds vid and your are leagues apart -
Good luck with it fella..
-
Just get a line breed lurcher- lurcher off, field and fen type animals.. See what lads use locally and if they are getting results.. go with what they use.. I would not go for the beddie whippets and the collie crosses..

I have enjoyed some of your vids fella.. But that was just rubbish Could pick it to bits on loads of issues.. Thats got to be the worst way to start a sappling.. -
Some obscure answers.. Whippet - collie & Beddy - whippet Seriously ?? For regular coursing , not the odd kick up or summer run ?? Lets see these hare stoppers
-
Sounds good.. Take the camera
-
Have you been yet Paul or going ??
-
How much have you looked into it chester ?? Did you get dates, location, prices & protocol ??? Do you think the crowd on foot, get a good view or better watching it on film ?? Are the hares beat in or bagged ??
-
Aye would of gave a better finished look.. Its fit for purpose tho and a decent effort.. Much cheaper making them.. Bought galvanised ones cost more than my vans worth

Have enjoyed watching these Galos for a while now on you tube.. I am defiantly going to get out there and see it in the flesh.. Mates suggest Budapest or Pruage for my Stag due.. Would rather go there for a few days..
