could just be a bang then... just lead walk it for a week or so... If its still hopping after that I would not run it till its back on four legs.. Sounds like nothing to worrie about to much,I woulg skip the vet they will charge for consultation and xray and then tell you just to rest it... -

dont think running him lightly will help... If its not broken it may be a knocked toe... Pictures would be helpful... put some pictures up .. Save your money and lay the dog off for a good 3-4 weeks.. -

In the litter i bred they pups came in various shapes and sizes... My pup I kept back looks complelty different to the bitch me pal kept.. his is like a grey hound tall and racy mines shorter coupled and more stocky.. I have not got any recent photos of mine will try and get some soon..

This is a few questions these lads with lurcher's with unbreakable feet.... What Tally's do you get when its -4 hard frost,full moon,no wind and the snow is reflecting the moon light and the beam? How do your dogs negotiate hidden dangers that lie beneath the snow such as rocks,ruts, roots and maybe animal troff's? What type of lurcher's do you run?? Do you apply specialist conditioning to gain stronger joints-tendons-pads?? Cheers

Its a absolute No brianer Running lurcher in hard conditions.... Knocking toes up it could be off for weeks if not more.. Wait ten days if met office is right, the moon will be away and it game on.. I think its daft going out on shit nights its a waste of time and petrol. When the moons up I would rather go out daytime...
