    wilf its lamping I dont give rabbits law so i would not have given hares law pre ban... Lamping is about catching gear to me.. If did go out daytime pre ban I was happy to see me dog miss if it had been a good course.. because where i went dogs would not catch a hare off a long slip... folk do things differently, I used to hunt fell ground hares where hunted up not like big fenn ground where you can spot a hare.. Its down to preference people you not think there chosen sport is superior to the next mans cause often its not..

    Stone walled feilds are easy to lamp, if you know where the hares are heading.. I think if you know your ground well you can narrow the hares chances right down.. I have lamped often in cumbria...

    Any old lurcher may catch hares with ease on the lamp I have seen dogs struggle. And how many would do double figures??? My dogs a lamping dog and taken plenty hares pre ban some very easy off the seat but a fair few put a good account in from them selfs and the dog missed plenty.. As for people getting holier than now telling me it un sporting get real... Coursing men run summer hares, run pups when the stubbles just been cut. They dont just wait for those "Hard winter hares" they are out as much as anyone and they would have to be to get the dog in any shape to contend

    Depends on the pup... What level of fittness it has,had it had a good few rabbits on the lamp.. Time of year and size of feilds. I dont think one bad run would do much damage But i would much prefer to to hold it back and give the dog the best chance.

    The bitches feet now look terrible.. she dose not turn as well and she has less gas in the tank.. Still takes good numbers regularly on the lamp, daytime quarry is less forgiving to the wide turns she can throw. The bitch was worked hard and its just ware and tear... She has the broken toe and pulled ligiments and i have the photos and fond memorys.. The bitch still seems as fast off the mark and still is a good dog but was far better 3 years ago she made things look efortless....

    Robo christ your a fecking crack pot shut the hell up... You would not have the balls,skill or determination to deviate an entire estates pheasant population.. Sure if you got caught doing that you would get more than a slap you would get the jail... You are making decent law abiding lurcher folk look like idiots not many will share your view

    I would not bother mate.. Get a pup and trian it yourself its hard work correcting someone elses mistakes.. I would never take on an adult dog but thats just me.. Good luck with it... Just spend lots of time with it.. you may have to try a few different things to get it right..

    I go home when the dogs finished or the lamp dies.. I cant just pop out for half an hour if I go I am out till the end regardless if I am working the next day..

    Work to be carried out friday or sat... Available for veiwings sat sun mon.. Car is super clean was bought for the bad weather by my girlfriend and she could not afford the insurnce it was not her best idea

    123k no tax Mot till june.. Can see from last MOT work done to pass.. Was on ebay when lad test drove was cutting out so there is current problem with fuel..     v reg sportgage very clean never been dogged.. 123k, mot till june no road tax £800.. Had it on ebay had a problem with fuel was cutting out going to the garage this week so will be fixed and running fine..
