I would say most lads would have 5/6 terriers to get them through the season

Hi all hopping someone on here might be able to help . My great uncle Alfred fountain was head keeper on burley estate . He had 2 son Ricky and tony . I’m trying to find lost and present family . 1 side of my family where gamekeepers and the other side where policemen Sargent . My great grandfather was the first cross in are family to be a keep in 1918 after the war . He married a lady Dolly fountain . If anyone can help I’d be most great full . Thanks Daren peter cross

Sorry ment Bert gripton. Does anyone still work his line/ strain . I’ve kept a few fell type and never really seen any Russels work . Apart from when I was a kid learning the trade . I would be interested in knowing more about his dogs . Thanks .... sorry for jumping ur thread lutra lutra

Hi all just I was just sat thinking the others night . Is there anyone still breeding A.N bull Russels and working them ? . I met the man a few times at his home and had a gd but of crack with him but lost contact with him after me moving round the country . And what’s other people’s options on his dogs work wise . Thanks
