Firstly did you have another dog out with you, When training a pup i always take the pup on its own until we get the retrieving right. Secondly Was the rabbit last night a long run, some lurchers i have seen (mine included) will only come within 14 foot on some long runs. Thirdly is the dog ready? This is only to help you im not having a go

This man has left a whole in every ones life, He will be missed. Thats the second mate ive lost in three years.. this is tearing me up to be fair. i wish we would pull our boys out before we all lose someone. It's only our lads that are losing out here not the yanks

This guy was the joker of all jokers ive never met a lad who could make anyone laugh like he did. He was one of the strongest lads ive ever met, a great boxer too. we had lost touch over the past 3 or 4 years. My heart goes out to his family his 6 month old boy and all the lads that new him. You will be realy realy missed God bless mate xx

Dont all shout at me at once this is just the way i do it. If i want a dog for lamping why would you start it in the day ferreting teaching it to hunt up and mark a whole!!! i take my pups lamping first, i give it a few dropped bunnys at night so they get to grips with that. Then when they have done that then i take them ferreting. Thats just what i do and i works for me. Of course the pups recall and other training has been mastered

My mate has got one that way bred, load of cack at night wont run anything on the lamp but is good in the day (ferreting)

A bloke bred 4 out of his 2 back in november the sell for around £100 each.. as it was the fire works scared the doe and she squashed them
