    ............. for some pics as the piking was crap. Yesterday morning we headed north for a spot of pike angling, last week we had a few nice fish from this water, but not today One of the lads was passing comment on the lack of wind on the day, the lake was mirror like the whole day, ball breaker.     Proper cnuts they are, seem the damage done to a carp lake and its not nice to see fish with spear like wounds caused by these rats with wings, I used to pop them any change I got, but they are protected now.

    Headed out last night with two mates, some new land that we came across while out fishing. First set of fields we came to produced two bunnies, then the fcuken moon shower its head and that was that with bunnies. As we made our way deeper into the land we found tons of bunnies but due to the moon they were hugging the ditch. I am sure in two weeks time we will do them damage, but for now we will hope for a few really dark and cloudy nights. Next field we found a really dark spot under a huge tree and started to call for charlie, fcuk me he was like an arrow coming in , I had a pup with me

    Same here Danny, was fishing today and met the farmer and was told to kill what I wanted on the land Am heading out in few mins with Richie and another mate from Dublin, will let ya know how we get on.

    We have a very large pond over here and its stuffrf with carr have fishing it tons of times and have used my pike fly outfit for the carp and have to say its great craic. Mind you never had any of the doubles most of the carp were in the 6-8lb range but super sport. If you find the carp a bit shy of the fly, loop two floating biscuits via a hair rig and you will have some craic.

    That works alsoTOPPER , but I think that they have accumulated enough information in recent months to launch raids and maybe follow suspects and set up check points as in this case. Think Danny hit the nail on the head regarding members naming town lands and the fore warning of a thread that was started some time ago about planned raids, LOOSE LIPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! & the fellas facebook photos. Surely noboby would be that silly to post pics of them with terriers working other stuff??

    That works alsoTOPPER , but I think that they have accumulated enough information in recent months to launch raids and maybe follow suspects and set up check points as in this case.     Theres a blast from the past, how tings with, what dogs you running. well mate, ah still runnin the usual rubbish lol ... i didnt get much done this season but theyv done enough on the lamp to learn it well!! i've still the 3/4 grey 1/4 wheaten and the beddyxgrey and then i got a wee beddy pup that will be ready for next season!! Ah good stuff, that bull bitch that I had from morris is still going round, she pulled up on me one night, then another lad had her she done the same and another lad has her now and she done the same on him one night when we were out.

    Graham pop out on a piking session some time, we have all the gear No bother John the last time i went was fathers day down to the suck ,their was 12 of us and it was a score all in for the biggest fish ,me self and Blakey got locked and the rest where all serious pike fishers but i went home with an extra 220 euro in me pocket LOL :laugh: jammy bastadr Fished the Suck thosands of times, great pike venu.
