Getting A Visit From The Rozzers.
events co-ordinator replied to reaper1064's topic in General Airgun Discussion
Put your air rifle into your local RFD and get it chronod when the police come they may take it to be tested if its in the rfd they can't. when the gun is chronod and is legal they don't have grounds to check it. -

Irish Wildlife Crime Conference 2013
events co-ordinator replied to Corkonian's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
Usual suspects Hutchison from Scottish Badgers is a romantic he visits a site then makes up stories and trys to pass them off as evidence. He's been found out in Scottish courts thats why he's trying your side of the water. Good job my old man keeps in touch with the legal bods over there. -
Scotland neilston show
events co-ordinator replied to whitedogman's topic in Gamefairs, Meet Up's and Events
Under SWTC rules pups do not compete for the Championship.Show it in the pup class it can only win the puppy championship only adults are judged for the supreme and reserve. I cannot speak for the 2012 show which this thread is about. So if you are going to criticize a show get the right thread. -

Every time our legal team has came up against this in Scotland we have beaten it but the animal welfare act (2006) Scotland is slightly different and the magistrates in Scotland have been left under no illusion as to what constitutes EVIDENCE in a Scottish court. There was a 43 page judgement laid out by Sherriff Kevin Drummond in a case in Duns. I was part of the defence team along with my old man but remember to finance these cases you need legal fees insurance unless you have pots of money. I have heard people criticising lawyers and their fees people like Clive and David the lawyer we us

New kid hit it on the head You may believe the hunting act is wrong BUT it is the law. So breaches of it are CRIMINAL offences and as such are viewed by the police intelligence gathering branches that constantly monitor all these sites they have flags that alert them I would imagine the phrase PreBan would be one of them. Are you starting to get the picture yet ?

Dreadful Legal Aid Changes
events co-ordinator replied to events co-ordinator's topic in General Talk
I don't know if it applys to Scotland yet but there are few specialist lawyers in Scotland that are available on legal aid thats why we are SACS members that solves our problems. I will add any problems north of the border don't hesitate to get in touch advice is free and may point you in the right direction. -
Dreadful Legal Aid Changes

I can't believe there is no comment on this story. -
The other thing is when my old man helps lawyers in Scotland or N.I. in EVERY case the evidence has come from the accused in interview form if stopped you must give a NO COMMENT INTERVIEW until you have been advised by a SPECIALIST LAWYER. This will be more difficult as they are changing the rules on legal aid and you Will Not be able to get a specialist lawyer on legal aid. I'm ok cos I'm a SACS member plus I'm in Scotland and Paulus is a SACS member so he's ok as well.

I forgot to Say Brian plummer said one of his most treasured moments was meeting Fred J Taylor as he'd always admired his writing and his Ideas. This was when we were down at his house picking up the SWDA dissertation to the Scottish Govt during the Watson bill and Brian and my old men were sitting talking. -
Recommend An Angling Book.
events co-ordinator replied to Tiercel's topic in Fresh & Salt Water Fishing
My old man reckons Roach the gentle giants by John Bailey BB the anglers bedside book and Tench by Fred J Taylor he used to take me in my pram down the Clyde at Dalmarnock when he was fishing. I used to sit beside him with a wee whip catching Dace while he took roach on the stick float. -
Just seen that changes to legal aid may stop the accused from engaging specialist lawyers like Clive Rees in hunting act cases. You'll end up with the local duty lawyer from Tesco. Legal fees insurance is even more vital. I would like to know from Clive if the report (yesterdays shooting times) is as bad as they say.
