  1. ....don't worry about the nit picky comments, some people rather than answer your question would rather try to be-little you. If you are just starting out then I would recommend you get a copy of Robert Bucknells book 'Foxing with Lamp & Rifle' it is very informative and you will find it very useful and you can easily re-sell it and get some money back afterwards. If by 'best' you mean 'easiest' then in my opinion it would be this time of year when this years cubs are easily lamped and called in. Also as soon as any crop field has been harvested the foxes will be there that night
  2. Got my Brno cut to 15" recently and it has made no effect on accuracy.I mostly shoot out the jeep with it and it makes for easier moving in side the vehicle.
  3. My 243 is zeroed at the moment at 200yds with my 80gr homeloads ,this gives me roughly a +/- of 1.5" to about 250yds.
  4. 20grains shot throu my 17 with great results when i had it ,and my 2 mates have no complaints,to this day.

  9. ...are the trigger kits easy to fit and what difference did it make. I don't want to much of a hair trigger in the field. dave knows about this gun as he paid very little for 1 and nearly £1000 worth of mods on it he still cant shoot worth a shite The trigger kits are a doddle to fit takes 20mins tops, the kits come with different springs so you can chose how sensative although the lightest is a defo nono it goes off if you tap the stock.I would defo recommend them
  10. My brno 22lr is from 1976 and it took the rimfire trigger kit (I put 1 of the springs in my 17hmr and 1 in my 22lr when I bought the kit)so as long as your rifle aint much older than mine I think you should be ok.Happy bunny bashing THT

  12. Went over the footy park with Ella(black lab) for her late night walk and took the torch with me just to scan the field behind as 1 of the householders who's house looks over the field reckoned he sees 2 charlies there regular and had asked the farmer if HE could shoot them (I was only intending having a look to see if it would be worth going over tomorrow night with my mate). Sure enough there was a set of eyes staring back at me ,so poor Ella's was cut short and the T3 was mounted with my torch and back over I went and within 5 mins Id found him again at yds using my sons torch to find then

  15. Was out friday night for over 4 hrs and never even chambered a round we had seen 6 foxes but none presented a shot .Off out again last night and got a charlie within 5 minutes ,as soon as I shone the lamp on the first field 2 sets of eyes shone back my mate followed the 1 that ran into the quarry which eventually stopped not far short of the 150 yd mark so of went a 100 gr federal which hit home with a dull thud (this fox would have to be left to the morning as its hazardess in the quarry at the best of times never mind at night) a quick scan of the field showed the other charlie was still th
