    Im looking at going to a show tomorrow but as been to neither i just wondered which was best.St Johns Chapel is closest on but its shit roads to get to it and could probably do Otley in same time if not quicker.Has anyone been to both that could tell me?

    could a car alternator be fitted to it?maybe What would power alternator though to recharge battery? Its just as easy to whack on charge you dont have to disconnect battery

    Yeah just the cheapest one the shop had i think i paid £24 for it.Its quite small to keep weight of machine down too.I wish i had ability to make metal one mine is big bulky and made from timber but does the job ok despite its design faults.

    Whats funny? Do you think i meant i ran one dog that amount of times? Far from it that was over 20 dogs that were at my race meeting.Most ran out of steam after 3 or 4

    Mate your dog will tire before battery does.I have done 30-40 runs of 250 yards on one battery and as i said in your other post always have spare on standby

    I use one of them eyed screws fixed to my frame it stops line from bouncing about.I done some 350yard runs with mine and it does get hot but had no other problems with motor. Some days when running my lurcher club i was doing 40-50 runs and only prob was solenoid so always had a spare and a spare battery on hand.I use a scalextric control for my controller and i also ahve a spindle made from an old bike wheel so i never have dogs running towards me i always on an angle.Im only in Billingham mate so if your not too far in durham your more than welcome to pop over and take a peek and give dogs a

    Pub near me used to have one crossed with an Irish Wolfhound it looked like it could take down a Lion.Needless to say we didnt try to pinch all the empty Newcastle Brown Ale bottles for the 7p return from the back of that pub.

    Well i got one kennel and one run and not got time, money nor space to make another so thats how its staying for now but in month or two he coming in house full time.I let mine in house during day with kids etc and only make them sleep outside because i personally dont like them locked up in run 20+ hours a day.

    Best on own by all accounts. Mine kennelled with my whip x grey @ minute and no probs as yet but both still young so time will tell.

    Bit of advice Tattey.Fit a kill switch as sometimes solenoid stick and motor keeps turning and starter starts to smoke.I built my own also and its happened twice to me so bought a kill switch from local discount car shop.atb MH

    Well he could barely stand with his limp & walking stick let alone walk so i cant see him plodding through fields can you? And she was no spring chicken either.I could be wrong but i doubt it.Oh and the way she was instructing him to pull lead higher,lift his head and spread his legs made me think the way i did!

    I dont know if lad on gate was Deerhound hunter on here it looks very similar to his he has on some pics and a thread in lurcher section.Did you see the tall black rough haired pup which won the rough pup section? It was a standard poodle x grey and looked the business but they didnt look like a couple that worked their dogs just show ponies!

    It was a nice dog that Frag i lost out to that in the x bred section with my wheaten pup.And i agree with the thistles etc my dog didnt walk properly on it at all.He came nowhere anyway and too many bull x for my liking but each to their own.

    Is there " other" terrier class does anyone know? Just to put my Wheaten in.Saying that she is only a pup and all pups are mixed arent they usually?
