    I would love to see more genuine 1st or 2nd cross in my area, theres plenty of interest but it`s all bull greyhounds.not knocking any bread but we all have our favourites right ?

    regarding size with dam and sire choice I would`nt put a 27tts greyhound dog on a 22tts collie bitch thats what I meant by size issue Using a greyhound dam makes sense with pup delivery surely ??

    1st cross or 3/4 cross in my opinion what more dou you want. The collie greyhounds I`ve had over the years have been a pleasure to own. Got 2 five month old 3/4 cross hopefulls in the kennel now

    In my opinion Border sire Greyhound dam just because of the size issue really. I like 1st cross but you can get some litter waste with pups following collie.

    I dug what I thought was a huge dog fox a few years ago, got home and weighed him 19 3/4 pounds. Thought it was much heavier than that, they can be deceiving.

    Hi mate, be carefull how much marking work you give her because this could affect her lamping. Your better off concentrating on the lamping first then day work when she`s a bit older,she`s still young yet and when she sees another dog work the lamp she will soon learn, Good luck mate.

    Someone told me years ago that they had a real stubborn streak I dont know if thats true. Interesting though !!

    brother over half sister an so on brother over half sister is in-breeding, line breeding is to form a family /strain using one common ancestor normally an outstanding animal in it's field ... race horse, dog, pigeon or budgie ... whatever, can remember reading a great book on the subject... primarily regarding racing pigeons but examples used regard other animals and (though frowned upon)human beings ....     Can I just say that me and my mate Rob have just brought three of these pups back to the Valleys and they are a cracking litter in top condition. Both parents can be seen which is a plus and the pups are unbelievably steady. Ian and Rita gave us a warm welcome and as much time as we needed with the pups. If you are looking for a genuine litter of collie greyhounds then check these out, well worth the journey. Thanks both Tony !

    well done Derwyn and Todd, when I was working and showing dogs many years ago I used to get the same wind ups when I won a show.. only in those days it was face to face !!
