    im 16 from the north east and looking for local people in my area to go ratting or ferreting with. I have a jack russell terrier , a hancock bred collie/greyound and 2 polecat hobs and a young albino.Help would be much appreciated.

    i have a jack russell terrier who works all week long.. he carries many battle scars of rats and fox...but when i took him to a game fair last year he came first judge saying how much of a strong dog he was

    always use a large hob and never a gill. Ferrets will more than likely work rats but after a while they just simply stop. I have a large polecat who done exceptionally well on rats and then one day came out all bloody.. now he wont do them at all but it will still work rabbits. Its your call matey ATB

    i have a 100% working russell and can rely on him for anything. f**k whoever said russells are shit they the best terrier going....the best way is to try take it out with other terriers to guide it towards becoming a working dog!!

    i generally set rat and rabbit traps and sometimes it just takes a while for them to get used to the trap.... a better way to kill tthe rabbits is to snare them
