  1. im suprised noboby has said that at a full fill(200bar) the aa s200 shoots about -1ft/lb and when it gets to about 150-170 it gets to the sweet spot and will be running a bit more powerful 11.5ft/lb
  2. i dont know about deer antlers but here are a few you can try. http://images.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=h...l%3Den%26sa%3DN
  3. well deker i was just giving my opinion, and i would pick a rimfire for shooting them but i think an air rifle is capable of taking hares as long as its in the right place, like already has been stated.
  4. i always remember my first kill it was a rabbit with an air rifle and i shot it at about 15 yards and its eyes popped out due to the pressure the pellet caused and i thought it was still alive but it was its nerves and i felt bad but i now know its only nerves, and good on ya
  5. indeed rolfe is correct that is a self-locking snare the local country store sells the same one and they lock and also when i went to usk game fair a bloke had a few boxes of the same ones and we asked him if they were self locking(which they were) and if they were legal and he said i havnt had any problems and there legal which i knew they were not,i dont think he had a clue what he was selling and they were £1.50.
  6. seeing as my mate shot one with the shotgun we decided to try and taxidermy its head and we compared it's skull to a rabbit's skull and its only a little bit bigger and it is about the same thickness and it should be no problem with a head shot, and dont see how it isnt sporting to shoot them with an air rifle if there being a pest or damaging golfcourses they have to go.
  7. seeing as this is the young hunters forum and this topic is about permission me and my mate who are 16 have got alot of permission between us(well i think we are doing good seeing as no one else in are familys hunt so we got all this are selfs)we have got 4 farms for shooting all vermin including fox,2 farTms for air rifle and ferreting,1farm for a ladder trap and a smallholding for snaring foxes.I think this winter will be good sport as i will be getting my FAC and SGC and my mate has already got his SGC.are main target is foxes this winter so the shotgun and 223 will be fun.
  8. why does it say it contains 1 rat and live animal cage trap does it come with a free rat?
  9. hi everyone, ive bought 500g of brass wire and 100 eyelets and i seen some where on the forum were the snares are 22 1/2" long and to make them you cut three lenghs of 45" brass wire and fold it in half put an eyelet in and spin it, but my snares are about 5" short of 22 1/2" and they are wound a bit tighter than the shop bought snares. please could somebody give me some advice and also how do i attach them to fences without that crappy green twine ive tryed wrapping the snares tight on the fence but they make a mess of the snares. many thanks nathan

  11. Not mine i found this one but i think its good. enjoy Most folk have a false impression of us shooters, They think that we are cruel, and only kill for bloodlust, this isn't the case at-all. We aren't inhuman murderers, who kill for pleasure and fun, our sport is like any other, your cricket bat is our gun. We appreciate our sport so much, like most good sportsmen do, believe me when I say, us shooters are no different to you. A keeper conceals himself down in a wood, to search for a shot or two, gazing out onto the fields, seeing grass covered in dew. To
