Thank you. Cameron said lots of things as did all of the remain side, they even used £9 million of tax payers money to spread the fear. So let me ask you directly, do you see any logical reason for Irishmen to start killing other Irishmen over a border that it has been clearly stated Britain does not want or need but that will be imposed by a Dutchman in Belgium. Is there any valid reason for that to start happening ?

Mate, I totally understand that. In fairness, you have tried to have a conversation head on which I respect and like. Voon on the other hand wants to go all round the houses and avoid a direct answer. It’s nothing of the sort and you know that full well. You still have not explained (and in fairness nobody has) why a border (which Britain has clearly stated it does not want or need) means that people have to start killing each other?.......please, in simple terms for a bit of a pleb like me.

Totally agree with that, I have 9 year olds playing at U12 and 11 year olds playing at U14.......but I watch them carefully, like a dog, you don’t want to over match them and break them. No, you are absolutely spot on.....it was a pro talking to an amateur mate, and a complete amateur at that. And I fully understand the pro game only wants to talk about the “naturals” However, my point was this, the overwhelming majority (like me) are not working at elite level (non of the coaches at the seminar were elite level)......99.9% of the youngsters anyone coaches will never go on to play at any kind of standard (especially over here!) but they are the thousands that are paying into the game with their fees every season. I think there is a massive difference between players they go out to deliberately hurt another player and players that play with intensity, passion and genuine bottle. As I said, sometimes that boils over. The latter will be as hungry for a 15th goal as they were for the 1st.......the former are nobodies.

Fair enough mate, but I have not seen one pro leave EU person mention “a return to violence” ........in fact I think (and I’m happy to be corrected pal) the British have actually stated that we don’t want or need a hard border. All the talk of violence has been from May, Corbyn, Varadkar, Verhofstat And Sien Fien , Labour, remain Tory’s etc etc Basically everyone that wants to usurp the demorcratic vote.

As a slight side conversation, I went to a seminar with the FAI elite director of football who is a Dutch bloke called Ruud Doktor. This is the bloke who has come up with “the plan” for Irish football. So, we moved out to the training pitch with a couple of U12 sides who they had got there for the evening and he says “right, now I’m going to show you how I do it” And he set them up in a couple of 7v7 & 9v9 and let them get on with it, never said a word more. Now this group of lads could play, they needed nothing explaining and it was all pass and move.......no inexperie

Fair play to you mate. Obviously you have to do child protection and your CRB that’s a given and it costs f**k all. I think the thing you missed above the cost is that you have to have completed the other badges before you can progress and you have to put in a certain number of hours for each......a B license is about 130 hours as I remember. Then you have to add travel, hotels etc. You made it sound like you just book the course, bat off for a couple of days in a class room and bobs your uncle......it isn’t like that is it, there is real investment in time and money.

Here’s a thought, imagine how good Lionel Messi would be if he had had to play in England between 98-04 ?.......the modern rules allow players who would have absolutely got planted in row Z back then to perform in relative safety, imagine someone with that ability having to sharpen his game up to cope with that. Likewise, I feel exactly the same however I still feel showing people the right way to do things is of long term benefit to football.......however if FAs were serious it would almost be free. As usual, someone has taken something worthwhile, seen there’s a few quid in it and taken the piss. The bloke who was in charge of the Irish FA was earning €360,000 a year and all the exes......same bloke in Germany or Spain.......€120,000.........that there is a piss take if you could see what a f***ing clown show football in Ireland is.
