my patt x lakey chased rabbit the other day whilst im fishing on the river,he ran into a thicket and i thought he,d run on, an hour later i,ve called for help and their,s two of us calling and looking for him, just as its getting dark im getting scared for him,then from out of the blue he sqealed and he also had been only 15 or so foot away and till then totally silent my calls he didnt answer.He was stuck down a rabbit hole i pulled him out, job done!!! bloody daft terriers!!!!!

when rating and smoking rats out for the terriers what kinda of pipe is best to use im using a THICK old peice of hose but it gets too hot too quick. hydraulic hose seems too smaller bore and cuts the engine out,im at a bit of a loss, any idea,s as my terrier,s getting as frustrated as me!!!

i seem to have lost my thread i asked for advise on my terrier catching rabbits when i looked for reply,s today i could,nt find the tread?????? ive looked to see if its been moved but no luck??????

the trouble with watching is that he make so much noise through exitment they all run away!! i can call him off sometimes

can anyone give me advise on my terrier,he,s keen ,if not too keen, to catch rabbits for me but goes at it like a bull in a china shop, he runs right past closer rabbits while giving chase to one miles away. this is my first terrier and he,s exellent on rats his nose for game is near damn perfect when he says its, in or down ,there it always has been!!!! i just cant steady him up enough to catch rabbits properly he,s fast enough but just goes mad??? any advise welcome.

i put my little one (just a year) in the terrier racing for laugh at my local county show yesterday,what a giggle, he was only beaten once by a lanky irsh terrier (which obviously didnt work!) the rest of the races he ran he was like a bullit!!!!!! the fox tale lure diddnt stand a chance neither did the other terriers. i was laughing my buttchecks off as the traps would open and out my terrier came,at one stage the other dogs got in the way ,he tripped over one dog got back on his feet and stiil won the race!!!!!! a pointless exercise really(apart from the fun value) but it did show me

i use my dog for finding pigeon ive shot,flushing rabbits and pheasants,killing rats and mice, i,ve yet to get him on a fox as he,s only just a year. basically he,s an all rounder. most importantly he,s my mate!!! he comes to work and everywhere i do ,hunting ,fishing or just down the pub. i couldnt do without him!!!

me and my pattxlakey went toi a local show on saturday and i entered him in the dog show(because there wasnt any terrier racing) just for a giggle he,s only just a year, we got second prize.But before you get to exited the catagory was dog most like its handler!!!!!!!! a little ginger girl won cuz her dog had ginger hair too and she was the only kiddy there!!! here,s a photo of us together you can just see the terrier under my arm what do you boy,s think do i really look like a pattXlakey????

has anyone ever try,d smoking rabbits out,the way you do for rats with a chainsaw engine(you know the score)?????? i,d be intrested to find out,in theory it should work!?!

does anyone do any ratting in hampshire i,ve a year old pattxlakey he,s exellent on rats he mark,s and never lies and loves to kill them.the trouble is when i go on my own i really need more than one dog and my living arrangments are such that i,ve only space for one dog. if anyone goes please give me shout as me the terrrier and i would love to join you.
