    does anyone do any ratting in hampshire i,ve a year old pattxlakey he,s exellent on rats he mark,s and never lies.the trouble is when i go on my own i really need more than one dog and mt living arrangments are such that i,ve only space for one dog. if anyone goes please give me shout as me the terrrier would love to join you.

    my lakeyxpatt marks rabbits holes but dont enter as he,s too big, he will course them above ground but just aint quick enough to catch them unless they stop. he does dragg them out of brick and rubble piles tho.

    i bought my lakey patterdale for £65-70 i cant remember now but he,s from woring stock 25 years or more, i too am a first time terrierman, the terrier is only just a year and coming on strong. these things are a real real handful and not ot be taken lighty. on the other hand sooooo much fun you wouldnt belive. as for choosing i got mates that swear by russells and other that dont. what ever you want will do in my opinion as long as you stay on top of the little terrorists!!!!!!!!
