    Houndog 3, There was racing, but it was so wet ,it poured down, I did not go over to the racing, and I doubt anybody took them down. It bucketed out of the heavens. Never saw rain like it. Wet to the skin.

    Edward and organisers, congratulations from what I hear was a great show and raceday. My husband was judgeing the Whippets at the Sporting Whippet Club NI yesterday, so we could not make it, but please God next year. Again well done to all. Margaret Mc Stay

    Thanks hound dog 3, the weather conditions were awful, but i really enjoyed the show despite the heavy rain. Its a labour of love with me and Big (grumpy sometimes ) John, we have a laugh and and a bit of banter and craic with great country sports people. As we both are in Gods waiting room, we have to enjoy the few years we have left with our good canine friends.

    THE SPORTING WHIPPET CLUB OF NORTHERN IRELAND, SATURDAY 30TH AUGUST 14. The Sporting Whippet Club of Northern Ireland are holding a Charity Dog Show and Race Day on Saturday the 30th August 14, at Moyallen Estate, Moyallen, Portadown, Co Armagh. There will be Showing classes for Lurchers, Terriers, Whippets and Strong Dogs. And Racing classes for Lurchers, Terriers, and Whippets.     Tullylish Working Terrier Club Saturday 2nd August 14 The townland of Tullylish sits on the River Bann, and contains the villages of Gilford, Laurencetown, and Bleary. Deep in the heart of this beautiful countryside, with its magnificent scenery, was the venue for the Tullylish Dog Show and Race day last Saturday 2nd August 14. Although it rained heavy and continously all day, it did not take away from the quality, and organisation that went in to making this show so successful. As the old saying is “ The show must go on “ and John Barry and the Tullylish Working Terrier Club did just that

I would of liked to get more, but the weather conditions was terrible with the rain pelting down on my camera phone . Nearly ready with my write up, hopefully later this evening.
