    CHEERS NOTTZHUNTER I believe 100 rabbits with one dog is deffinatley doable borderlad with good ground ,perfect conditions and a fit dog.As i was the lad with tomo the night we caught 83 with fly and tara the 100 that night would have deffo been done ,if i can remember rightly the two dogs had plenty of wind left in them it was our lamps that ran out first . p.s i have an average sized cock if 8 inch is still classed as average . good hunting rew ive been lamping for forty years and in my time ive seen some good dogs believe me my old bitch only last seasom done 30 from 31

    Mr Darcy I fully support and understand your views about dogs being passed amongst good mates without charge, I work in a similar system with my mates. Its just helping each other out. Where I disagree is if somebody I do not know wants a dog then I would charge them a fair price for it, so it would not be immediatly sold on for a profit. (and also go some way to covering my costs) But I dont understand your comment "working dogs that perform to our lowly standards" I presume when breeding you use the best/healthiest/proven stock that you have available to you to improve the breed.

    IMO A lot of the problem breeding that goes on is due to "Kennel Blindness" people thinking they have the best dog in the world and breeding from it. As well as the people knowingly breeding shit just for the money. After quite a number of years working dogs I am in the process of breeding my first litter of terriers. Why? because I could not buy a better dog than the ones I am breeding. With the working ability and working lines of the dog I am using combined with the working ability and working lines of my bitch, it would be very hard (if not impossible) to find a dog with such g

    imo A ferret reaches its peak in its 2nd and 3rd working season after which it starts to slow down. Remember, a good ferret can always get better, but a shit ferret will always be shit so dont breed off it
