    Help!

The S200 is good but you've got all the filling gubbins, tank etc, to consider. Why not look at a light weight springer as another option?
  3. Depends if you prefer break barrel or underlever really. Having shot (not owned) both a TX200 & a 95k I preferred the TX200; suited me better. As BBB says - you won't get a better trigger than the Rekord. Look for a second hand one - theres some bargains about - dont rule out a (brum made) Webley Longbow.
  4. They stock them at my local Tesco's - give them a try

It's gone now - sorry everyone
  6. Hi Been the Abbatoir today & got far too much. I haven't the room & have a box of lambs necks etc slowly defrosting in the fridge. If anyone can make use of it let me know - there was enough in the other box to feed my terrier for a month. Cheers
  7. Baldie makes a fair point. There are too many tools with airguns presently who are doing responsible owners no favours. However, how would it prove any more successful than the handgun ban? There are huge numbers of airguns out there they would never find out about Licensing would then only take effect for newly sold rifles(they can only trace thru gunshops), creating an underground by default
  8. I've heard bathing the eye in cold tea works. Also piriton can be given to dogs but I don't know the dosages. Good luck with it mate.
  9. Have a look on www.airgunbbs.com Usually some AGS 3-9x40 going withn your price range & the dots should suit a .22
  10. I like the xocet too :thumbs-up: Not shot a 99 although my mates 95 is a good gun

Welcome mate Agree with all of the above. do you have any local clubs you could get along to? Usually you can get to try a few out and pick up some good advice. The best advice you will get (as said before) is to practice, practice, practice and know your limits before trying any live targets. Cheers
  20. I hope everything works out & she's ok mate. Fingers crossed for her.
  21. Do you know of another one Jay? I thought that was the only late night one? As you say - its not cheap, and it's a good few miles away for me
  22. I wouldn't take a chance with a pup of that age mate. Depends how bad it is really; you probably shouldn't try to give it anything like piriton 'cause of it's age. Has it had any jabs?? Give the emergency vet a ring if you aren't sure - I've checked yell.com & I think the number is 0151 220 4668. Can you get someone to help you out till tomorrow? Good luck mate
  23. Something similar happened to my dog a while back. Whole face swelled like a balloon, no idea what it was but probably a bee/wasp sting. Ended up at the emergency vets for a couple of jabs & a course of piriton. With a pup that age I would get to the vets - the emergency one is by Alder Hey.
  24. Has anyone ever tried using raw meat ?? I ask as I have seen a few magpies coming into the garden to pick over anything the dog's left behind. Just wondered if it would work to draw them in?
