    bit of a tricky one, i think its a case of you cant do right for doing wrong, do you leave the animal to suffer and die a slow painful death, or do something that is very much frowned upon to put it out of its misery, I DO NOT IN ANY WAY AGREE WITH SHOOTING FOXES WITH AIR GUNS but an fac rated airgun at 15 yards did the job, it may not be classed as humane , but is it humane to leave the animal suffering?

    hi deker just out of interest on my fac under .22cf it says fox and any other legal quarry does that mean i could shoot muntjac and cwd ect i didnt ask for deer as i dont yet do any stalking, but i am looking at doing my dsc 1 and joining a syndicate this year (hense the question lol) the chap at my local gun shop says it means i can shoot deer as thats what it says on his licence but i was under the impression it had to say the word DEER or do you think its just a difference between different constabularies, cheers adam

    HI LADS JUST A POST TO SAY I GOT SOME MORE PERMISSION TODAY FOR SOME AIR RIFLE LAMPING, I FIRST GOT THE PERMISSION FOR PIGEON SHOOTING OVER WINTER RAPE WITH THE 12G AND SPEAKING TO THE FARMER TODAY AND HE MENTIONED THAT ABOUT AUGUST TIME HE LIKES TO HAVE A RABBIT CULL READY FOR WHEN HE LAYS THE NEW SEED SO I ASKED IF HE MINDED ME HAVING A LAMP WITH THE AIRGUN, AND HE SAID OK, THE THING IS WHEN I FIRST ASKED FOR PERMISSION I ASKED IF I COULD COME AND SHOOT RABBITS AND HE SAID NO HE WOULDNT WANT ME SHOOTING A RIFLE OF ANY KIND, BUT I COULD COME AND CONTROL THE PIGEONS, AND AS STATED TODAY I ASKE

    hi people of the hunting life, have any of you ever decoyed pigeons and used a .22lr to shoot them. one of the farms i shoot on wants the pigeons gone and doesnt care how its done, he keep asking me why do i use a shot gun because for ever bird i shoot im scaring 10 away, he knows thats how pigeons are usually decoyd but he says there must be a different way, which has got me thinking, i know people shoot pigeons out of sitty trees with air rifles ( and before anyone says it i would never do this with a .22lr) but i was wondering would it work shooting pigeons with a .22lr as they land in the

    hi lads just after a bit of info, one of my permission is a small piece of land made up of 4 fields (roughly 20 acres i think) where i go to shoot rabbits (my other 3 permission are all pigeon shooting and another is in wales so i only go there about once a month a real hot spot for rabbits down there though ) anyway my question is what is the best time to go lamping? im fairly new to lamping there are about 7 or 8 different rabbit holes and every time ive gone there early morning (7.00 am) ive seen fresh droppings but no rabbits and i went for a walk on wednesday (without the gun) and saw loa

    thanks alot lads much appreciated well ive decided on my first buy which is going to be a cz452 .17hmr silhouette with a harris bi- pod sak mod and a hawke night eye scope, picking it up next friday so ill post pics when i get it, and when i get the centre fire i think i will be going for the tikka t3hunter with harris bi-pod schmit and bender scope and p8 compact moderator, thanks again for all your help, pics to follow

    thanks for the advice i think it will be the t3 i go for now as ive heard the remingtons need a bit of work on them too but can be great rifles, have you had any experience with these?

    as stated this is the 810 range it is a multi choke black synthetic good condition there is the odd mark but thats it and you wouldnt notice unless you looked closely i will be putting pictures up later today if any one is interested you can pm me or call me on 07920724598 its a good weapon and i dont really want to sell but i brought a new o/u just before xmas and ie just got my fac through and im saving foor my .17hmr so unfortunately this has to go so the price is £250 they are about £550 i think brand new all the best adam

    as stated a benjamin eb22 .22 air pistol (£110 new) a tin of pellets and hard lockable carry case (£20) i am also including the official silencer adaptor (£25,they have sice stopped making these and when i phoned the manufacturers they had sold the last 10 to black pool air riles and i brought the last one from them) i use an air arms silencer with mine and it really is whisper quiet, (the silencer is not for sale though)ill let e whole lot go for £100 im putting pics up tonight if anyone is iterested you can pm me or phone me on 07920724598

    hi people, well last week i was speaking to one of the many farmers i deal with at work (i work in a pipe fitting and plumbers merchants)and asked if i could help out with any pest control, he told me that there is a syndicate on his land and a game keeper who deals with all the vermin and another chap who deals with all the pigeons he gave me their numbers and told me to give them a call, as soon as he said this i thought that i stood no chance, but i thought id ring anyway so i rang the chap who does the pigeons, he didnt answer so i left a message, 7 days later (today) he rang me back, h

    well i got a new pair of hunter wellies and hunter wellie socks (these are brilliant) a new flask and camo hat a top of the range tent (some land i shoot on is miles away from me so i normally camp there in the summer) and i just got my fac so i got £200 towards my first rifle, i also treated myself to 3 boxes of pigeon fud decoys just before christmas, happy hunting
