  2. of course it matters how there bred, its all about the blood and the lines. It just my opinion, but as long as it does what i want it to then it doesnt matter what it is.lol well i am glad it matters to some of us.blood and lines is what producing top animals is all about imho So what your saying is if it's not from known bloodlines then its shit? dont put words in my mouth, what i am saying is why breed from unkown stuff when there are lines thats been going for a long time thats tryed and tested,if your happy with what you have on your yard good for you but some
  3. proper laff a minute this thread to all the guys oot there that dont beleive lines are important, why did the bull men, coursing men an even the greyhound men bother with lines
  4. well to be fair chris, i dont know what to beleive noo, iv heard all sorts a story's aboot the dam's pedigree an allsorts aboot the sire's pedigree, ffs my bitch is only 15 month old, an right up to the part were i parted wae me hard earned readys i was assured of both..... aint that funny so it noo looks as tho i was told a fairy tale so id take a pup ill say this tho, itll be the last time ill be listening to the truth from anycunt, iv always beleived in seeing parents graft an i took a chance on your litter an it seemed ye were a stand up guy.............. the money was/is nev

  11. So DD the purpose bred lamp dog took twice as many in the same night as your wee bitch Y.I.S Leeview not just that nite mate, happend most nites, like i said tho, the wee bitch did have an old injury so whetaher or not that played any part is another topic lol thop we did start an stop at same time, the big dog never kept lamping cos i stopped the whippet
  12. only ever seen whippets take winter hares oot there seats or hunt them up an catch them withing a few yards
  13. from what i gather mate, runnin dog addiction an scooby are worth what ye paid for them tho extreme lurcher work is fetching good prices at shows/fleabay, i see a few a going for 100 notes an a few even went for 150... the hare an the swift hound is the most expensive to buy now by far i have seen them go for 150/300 notes an im sure yer paperback books are worth 25 each......... the reason they are so pricey is they will never be re printed
  14. I wouldn't say it could never happen but it is quite hard to believe. There fighting for there life when they are dealing with a terrier.....to take on a dog, any type of small dog would be silly for it......theres no need unless it was absolutely starving. Be interesting to hear why he thinks it was a fox and its not just been nicked by some twat..... what like there was no need to bite a child if anybody on here lives in a urban built up area, im sure they will verify that foxes are losing there fear of humans/dogs/cars an almost everything else they meet in there day to day
  15. i done 17 wae a wee whippet bitch i had, she was carryin an injury tho from a few years previous an after a few hard runs used to lose her edge....... done between 10 an 16 loads a times tho but like i saidd 17 was teh best i had 1 nite lamping wae her.... was a purpose bred lamp dog oot that nite aswell an im sure he had30 plus
