we have but thats because theres a farm with beans in down the road. drove down to have a look and both fields were blue with pigeons but wont let anyone one. rape is patchy with snow so obviously more to go at with beans

get yourself one of the stealth nets much better the normal camo nets and less to carry

Went ratting last week with JDfrain off here and a few other lads. Had my patterdale Max, JDFrains two Fagan and Wilf, the keepers Shovel and my pup Gus that i am bringing on. Started off around the pheasant pens with the smoker and got about 20 rats. Then we moved on to a old grain pile at the side of a wood, we were bolting loads of rats but the cover was to thick so the gamekeeper rang one of the farmers and he came with the JCB. He lifted each set and dumped it in a clear area, rats were spilling out all over. end up with 55 rats and my pup got a few. Total for the day was 75. The

my mate shot one in a wood a few weeks a ago. we seen the area it landed (in thick bracken) but looked all over and had my lab in but couldnt find it. later someone was telling me they dont have a scent
